This is so funny

I'm totally fed up with websites not having a reject all button when it comes to cookies. And why does a few thousand random limited companies have a legitimate interest in my data? This is extremely fishy.

I think i never saw a game praised so much as Caves of Qud. Who needs AAA anymore? Well I mean, maybe 15 years of development is a tad too much for it to be economically viable but still. Oh and it has an Atari level graphics.

React makes me react instantly. I see "React," and my brain reacts like, "Not this again!".

Cool so the italian government made a "digital wallet" where you can upload your id card, ssn and driver license along with other documents so you don't need to carry them around. When you go to activate the function, you're greeted with a "Not secure" webpage (bc some resources are loaded via http)

Found a neat CSS trick to automatically swap between black or white text based on any arbitrary background color! With relative color syntax, you can use calc to adjust the text color depending if the background is above or below 50% lightness in the LCH color space.

It's me or lately npm seems to hang up when you run it? I have to ctrl-c then run again, always... #npm

Wireless charging is a neat way to waste electricity because you're too lazy to plug in a cable. Just visualize about how many CO2 emitting power plants are needed to produce that 30% you throw away for nothing.

One of my fav memes… thought it might come in handy over the holidays.. 😉😂

We have 6% of the followers here compared to the 100k in X. The vite 6.0 announcement in bluesky already got half the reposts and a third of the likes. And most of the comments and quotes from OSS maintainers happened here. I don't know about other communities, but OSS web dev is a bluesky game now.

hot take: companies should be paying for the disposal of each product they sell in proportion to how easy to repair / easy to dispose is each product. Food companies should pay too, but just for the packaging, if any.

Unpopular opinion: the new PlayStation controller everyone is talking about isn't that pretty, the white default one is way better, cleaner and more modern than "cheap-to-make-gray-plastic". 🤷

Even if you take X as a tool you might need for networking or even for fun, even if you ignore all the politics etc, who the hell wants to open up said tool and read what its owner has to say about literally anything with posts like "cool", "not true", "agree"? Just start a damn blog maybe?

All social networks are echo chambers by design.

MS Word and Excel is Using You to Train AI: How to turn off AI-scraping from your Word documents to protect your work from trillion dollars corporations. the feature is hidden through a series of popup menus in your settings medium.com/illumination...

The "bluesky is an echo chamber" think pieces that keep popping up really tickle me because they show how certain people genuinely believe social media should be for debating and arguing and not talking about the things that make you happy and sharing art with the world.

Giocare ai videogiochi a 40+ anni significa sostanzialmente comprarli senza mai giocarci per mancanza di tempo.

Chissà come è fatto Bluesky, ho pensato. Apro la console e vedo 80000 div annidati senza senso. Ok è react.
