#Audiophiles anyone got some good recommendations for wired IEMs (In Ear Monitors). WITH AUX (either size). None of that USB-C shite. Ta.

My dad sent me a video of something exploding on the moor behind the house. Apparently someone "found" ~something~ in their garage. And the British Army yeeted it behind the house. If they had only waited a week I would have had some entertainment while visiting. Shame.

All bluesky posts today are brought to you by SPRU prep. Which I want to get done because Valheim is on 1.0 release and I have shit to build.

If your YouTube video is one of those annoying pop up videos that follows me down the page of a website that's the quickest way for me to put you on my shit list.

Happy Sunday everyone. Hope we are doing well. I am in a creative "over tired toddler" phase. So many ideas, not enough time, not enough people around to help me.

Hey A Level kids. I'm sorry you were forced in to 6th form if you didnt want it. I wish I had stood my ground at 16 and went to trade school instead. I honest to God think my life would have been better. There's still time! Go be a spark! Learn plumbing. World = oyster.

U Chemistry, D English Lit, D Theatre Studies, E Geography. What the fuck were those subjects. Just because I A and A* them in GCSEs didn't mean I had the capacity for A-Levels. Fuck the British education system.

The most pleasant place to be is in my car. But as the owner of three big, and three small internal combustion engines I am also the reason WHY THE AIRCONDITIONED CAR IS THE MOST PLEASANT PLACE TO BE.

Arrived in work. Sat down. Opened email. Want to set the world on fire. Work-paid medical appointment now. And I am reminded I have a fuck ton of holidays and why not use them for mental health days?

I married a protestant and my dad got him a signed Gerry Adams photo and signed Ian Paisley photo for his 40th. At work they swap his yellow hi-vis for an orange one on July 12th. The food is good at family gatherings, though. I'll give him that.

I was like "I got a gift card from work. Let's see what on my list of things-I-want-not-need I can get." Then I remembered I live in Ireland and for some fucking reason electronics are EXPENSIVE. I might drive to The North.

Dog woke me at 0530. Cats have been knocking a plastic ball against the kitchen door for half an hour. And I drank *a lot* of mead last night. Good morning.

We don't have a bin-service here. So everything gets sorted for recycling. With domestic waste as well. That means a lot of plastic and cardboard. So I am researching domestic cardboard balers. Which do not appear to be a thing. :(

I just saw the graph of the house temps these last few days. It is not dumping the heat over night at all. It goes up to X. The overnight is X-3°c approx, but the next day is X+4°c. The graph looks like a slightly wonky staircase. 😫

No no noooooo. I think it'd be better if ONE character was a muppet. Like 🦁L🍆. Just having a great time in his forest.

Legion, John Grammaticus is the only human.

Additionally: a lot of your materials are not rated for this heat. Especially rattle cans.

From one hobbyist to many others experiencing a hellish heatwave: don’t force yourself to paint today just because others are. They may have more capacity to take the heat or be in cooler locales. If you need to stop, stop. Sweat is not good for thinning paints and neither are you if you overheat.

Don't know who needs to hear this but office AC doesn't work if you open the windows. It's hot *because* you opened the window. There's only so many temperature sensors a room can have.

I really dislike the summer. I can't be in my studio at all as it's south facing and insulated to fuck. 33c in here today. So I'm posting this and turning off everything that produces heat and retreating to the sofa. Giant orb in the sky can fuck offfffffff.

Moderator on our Townland Facebook group had a rant. It was a tough read. Don't know how they got feuturs from future. But they must have wrestled with autocorrect for that. Anyway, just saying, that there is a digital literacy AND a creative writing class being held in the village hall.

All you bread making people. A flyer in my letterbox today has informed me that 1. The brown bread baking competition is back at The Ploughing for 2026. 2. Sponsored by Euronics 3. There's now a junior category 4. Theres €10,000 worth of prizes for it?!
