if u give me 5 dollars your name will appear on a little guy in a secret room in my game ko-fi.com/brycebucher/...

Apparently the US government just recently decided to make an anthropomorphic rock mascot named Coalie which uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh is hilarious because I've had Rocky in my game for nearly 4 years.

I've got a puzzle involving constellations and I just wanted to show off the satisfying sound effects for the mechanical bits of telescope. (sound on, naturally)

I've been trying to find something to play and bouncing off of a lot of games lately. Decided to pick up Dark Fall 1 + 2 on Steam on a whim ($1.99 for both!) Just started the first one and I'm surprised I missed these growing up! Just look at them! THE ATMOSPHERE.

It's weird, the scope of this game is significantly larger than anything else I've ever made. As such, my brain keeps thinking that this my "first" game lolol

No clue if DreadXP even has a presence over here but apparently the Dread X Collection that I have a game in (SUBMISSION) is currently 70% off! (but also, like, if you're just curious about my game specifically it's free on my itch page lol) store.steampowered.com/app/1437500/...

⚠️ NEW VIDEO ⚠️ 2025 was another amazing year for indies but there were too many that didn't get anywhere near as much attention as they deserved. Here are 5 of my favourite underrated titles and a montage of 129 upcoming ones, so get your wishlists ready! youtu.be/7-bqRRN3YEY

I've been playing around with the aesthetic of having some Rust Valley characters be 3D (as compared to FMV) and also having them move at a different frame rate than the rest of the environment.

If anyone ever asks me "hey what's a piece of media that's the exact diametric opposite of your personal interests" it would now be this.

First trailer for Darren Aranofsky's new AI animated series 'On This Day... 1776' • Tells short narrative stories about the Revolutionary War • Uses Gen AI tools, including tech made by Google DeepMind • Has SAG voice actors

I have never been more proud of the people of my state and city. At first, my wife and I were worried about living somewhere that might continue to be attacked as a political target. After seeing how the community responded these past few weeks, we now can't imagine living anywhere else but here.

I think, to no one's surprise, it is quite difficult to focus on working on my game at this point in time. I'm sure I'll find a way back to it soon but it just doesn't feel very important at the moment.

I'm playing Life is Strange: Double Exposure and noticed this band poster out of the corner of my eye and my brain instantly recalled the reference. Apparently, the Best Buy Y2K reminder sticker is solidified deep in my memory.

I went down this rabbit hole and I feel like the RSAC had a better system? It told you what was in the game vs the ESRB telling you who they think the game is for.

I finally found this old clip! I'm simulating screen tear in my 90's point and click horror game, mainly to replicate the aesthetics of that era. But also, like, to do other stuff too.
