I made it through the whole week of early starts without once sleeping through my alarm please clap

Nature did me a solid with an amazing sunrise this morning as I was leaving for rehearsal

I was super excited to drop off my ballot at the embassy but apparently it needs to have postage, where tf am I supposed to buy us stamps in a foreign country

I’m not a morning person at ALL and I’m getting ready to go to an 8.30am rehearsal how do people do this, it is still fucking dark outside I guess that means it’s still night so it’s ok?

I’m struggling to make good coffee at home and I can’t figure it out. I’ve tried lots of different beans, espresso, French press, and pour over, even different water. I can’t put my finger on what tastes off! I like it from a good cafe, idgi.

I’m catching up on my tax declarations (self employed people here should pay monthly but I always forget) and I went to pay online at my international bank and you cannot make payments outside of business hours 💀 even though it is all completely online 💀 💀 💀

My friend plays in an orchestra where they just renovated the hall, and he said they had planned to replace the acoustic ceiling baffles but it turns out they didn’t need to because the problem was that they were covered with SIX INCHES OF DUST 💀

I’ve felt like ass all day and I instantly felt better when I drank some electrolytes, why is it so hard to remember to drink anything but coffee

I thought I was done doing stuff for the day and then I remembered I have to wash my hair fmllllll

I often wish I lived closer to my family but it was 104° where they are today and it’s 58° here and I’m wearing a cozy robe and my cat is snuggled on my lap

Since I’m getting paid soon I went ahead and got a new vacuum and wowwwww the last one was really dead. This is a xiaomi stick vacuum and it is so quiet and my floors are noticeably cleaner. How much of a loser am I that it’s Friday night and I’m delighted by a new vacuum lmao

I had ice cream in the rehearsal break today instead of coffee and it was significantly easier to make it through the piece lol

Whatever good vibes yall sent me really worked because I’ve been offered work with three of the major orchestras here in the last 24 hours thank u very much 😎

I ordered my groceries to be delivered between 6-7 and was planning to make soup, at 7 they said there was a delay, and now it’s 9 pm and they canceled my order 👹

Everyone cross your fingers that someone hires me for something soon because my vacuum cleaner really smells like burning and I cannot justify that kind of expense right now

An acquaintance (musician) wrote to me after they heard about my orchestra collapsing and said maybe I should try looking for work in the us. What a novel idea!!!! I’ve never considered that as an option before!!!! Not like I haven’t been trying to do that for 20 fucking years!!! 👹👹👹👹👹👹

Ok I beat my high score on my parents’ pac-man table so I have indeed accomplished something lately

Now that I live in a chilly place I’m going through some old clothes I’d been holding on to and wow do I not ever want to wear skinny jeans again
