I've been finding it fun to use lately. It can be like normal blog, or you can use it to make a website. It'd be fun to have more artists using it (so I can also link my blog to you and follow your blogs/sites!)

Substack… − walled garden + open social ecosystem − edgelords and, uh, white nationalists + artists and creators who <3 the internet − increasing enshittification + open source & interoperable − feature bloat & hard sells + fun & playful & easy to use = Leaflet 🍃✨

Sygnin's right~ I just shipped cropping options for leaflet's cover images! I know there were some bad auto cropped thumbnails guys sorry bout that 😭

Sygnin@sygnin.com

Yay! Thanks @leaflet.pub @cozylittle.house for adding crop function to post preview images! This helps so much coz many of my pics are portrait and they get beheaded lol (Sorry for crappy video, easiest to just use phone to make one)

Our canvas feature is preeeeetty goated for the visually inclined 👀 I made a canvas about me in my publication! It even works well on mobile!!! ooo.owwo.ooo/about

Leaflet@leaflet.pub

Did you know leaflet has a canvas? We recently got a bit carried a way and added a LOT to it. You can now: - DRAW! - add canvas pages to your publication - set view areas for mobile - make canvas images in posts - try it out at leaflet.pub/new-canvas check out this video for the full run down:

We've improved our Leaflet onboarding!!! Now when you log in for the first time, you'll be greeted by this lil guy and find more guidance overall on how to start a publication and write your first post!!

celine
@cozylittle.house

You're a strong independant comic creator who don't need no platform!! You should own not only your content but ALSO your audience. That's your hard work, those are your people!! That's what we're tryna make happen at Leaflet!

Leaflet@leaflet.pub

Tapas is gone, and Webtoon is boiling the frog. Artists, as long as your put your hard work on a proprietary service, this will keep happening. You NEED to own your own work and audience!! It’s NOT hard to do! You don’t need to code and you can still be discovered! Use Leaflet! leaflet.pub/about

We're making it easy to explore and discover the amazing content on Leaflet and Standard Site via TAGS! Ever wanted to explore music content on the Atmosphere??? Start here: zjsm.leaflet.pub/3ms4um4btqc2...

Leaflet@leaflet.pub

it's now easy to browse an author's tagged posts and explore other things across the atmosphere! oh and if you don't want other posts showing up on your blog, you can toggle that off in settings!

Hi I wrote a big thread that I'm going to turn into a blog post. But this is the real reason I want you to leave substack and use Leaflet or Pckt or Offprint!

celine@cozylittle.house

TLDR: The Atmosphere is important because it creates a system where it is systemically impossible for apps to exploit you and society to enrich themselves. It protects you and it protects everyone! Please use Atmosphere apps, we're really trying to do something good here.
