I yapped more on Tumblr but I LOVEEE when a F-Zero machine's aesthetic matches its pilot. Spade's vehicle being spade-shaped from below and having a cockpit window shaped like his spooky grin is peak design.

Big news for F-Zero GX (credit to bstest4he on twitter): we have found cheat codes to unlock everything in the game, including the elusive gold parts that were previously JP-arcade event locked! Though there are a couple of caveats.

Cheat codes were discovered to unlock the Gold parts in F-Zero GX without external codes. The problem is you need to input the same code with four controllers at the same time. First time I've ever heard of such a concept and of course this game decided to do this.

1. These codes only unlock availability for the items in the shop, you still need tickets to buy them for use (time to start grinding Ruby GP forever lol) 2. For the gold machine parts, the codes require you to perform the inputs on FOUR CONTROLLERS SIMULTANEOUSLY. So, uh, good luck with that.

This puts the special gold parts in reach for everyone! #FZero #FZeroGX

I like seeing the argument "without AI these ports would not exist" and here's my actual response: I actually would rather not see them exist for an extremely simple reason: They're absolutely USELESS. And I would say that emulation has always allowed similar improvements the entire time.
