Trying to set up for a Teams meeting and suddenly I am VERY popular with the feline crowd. 🤣

I am trying to avoid decision paralysis so instead of obsessing about every office chair option I just ordered a chair that checked off the items on my list and looked cute. I went with the pink one!

Office chairs … sometimes my lower back doesn’t do great with sitting with my legs on the floor. So I’m thinking about one of those “cross cross” chairs. Kinda like the linked one. Thoughts or experiences? a.co/d/0icZfOVc

*feet on the floor. Not my legs. If my nets were on the floor I’d have completely different issues. 😂

The new desk is on my porch. Old desk is in the garage. Floor is swept and a place for the desk has been cleared. Assembly is tomorrow morning. Now I just need to drag the box with the new desk into the house. Ugh! I’m tired.

After much dithering and overthinking I finally purchased a desk! It’s not fancy, but I already have a rolling file cabinet and a printer stand. So no need to add more. Just a nice big work station.

Okay. I want everyone to tell me how brave I am. I took my bright flashlight into the bathroom and looked for the spider. I did not find it. Even not knowing where the danger might be lurking I still pulled my pants down and peed, knowing my escape time would be hobbled (literally).

But I am NOT showering in there until I can confirm it’s dead.

I have a problem. Spider in the only bathroom. Tried to hit it like 3 times and can’t kill it. Heart pounding. Bladder screaming. Now it’s in a corner and I can’t squish it there. But it’s inches away from the toilet so I can’t pee. Warning, spider pic below. Don’t look if you’re like me.

We walked. We ate. We listened to music. It was fun! It was super busy today so a little crowded. But I walked 3.5 miles. And wow Dollywood has some inclines. 🤣 I am a sucker for Loungefly backpacks and look at this little beauty!

Things to invest in for my house … a thermostat that can auto switch between heat and coil. I didn’t realize that a cool front was going to have temps dipping into the 30s overnight while I’m gone. So I have the AC on and set at 74. Poor fuzzy butts are gonna be chilly overnight.

Morning. It’s a cool and dreary morning. My back is unhappy about the drive and the mattress that isn’t mine. But I’m happy to be here. Brunch and gossip with The Kid today. I hope you all have a fabulous Saturday.

Last night packing was stressing me out so I decided to do what I usually do and pack in the morning. That was a mistake. Now I’m even more stressed. Nothing is going right. I’m fighting back a panic attack. Fucking morning.

I’m packed. Sorta. Not a damn thing folded. I literally threw it in the suitcase. I didn’t pack a small makeup bag with just the essentials. Nope. I put it ALL in the suitcase. I just can’t be convinced to find a fuck to give.
