Did you know? Federal courts have reached decisions in over 20,500 individual ICE detention cases and habeas petitions. Rulings Against the Administration: Judges have handed down at least 17,600 rulings against the administration's mass detention practices.

Federal district judges have ruled against ICE's detention policies in roughly 90% of the cases reviewed, rejecting mandatory detention or citing due process violations. ICE generally operates under administrative warrants signed by agency officers rather than judicial warrants issued by a court.

Constitutional Limits: Like other law enforcement entities, ICE is bound by the U.S. Constitution, including Fourth Amendment protections against unreasonable searches and seizures and Fifth Amendment due process rights. Obviously, the rules/laws don't apply to ICE, and that needs to stop.

6,200 children have been detained, with roughly 170 to 226 children in custody daily, peaking around 550. This includes an average of 25 babies and toddlers aged three or younger in detention on any given day.

NYT today: How do you like HIM now? Disappointed, surprised, betrayed, regret, frustrated, embarrassed, concerned, worried, anxious, annoyed...some claim to be Independents? WTF is wrong with people? "I wasn't a fan of Kamala." "Lesser of two evils." "He did initiate the ending of the penny."

Senate Republicans push bill to authorize $400M for White House ballroom. YUP, taxpayers will foot that bill, and you can thank Lindsay Graham. I bet you're surprised.....say no one ever.

This phrase is used by far-right, "manosphere," and pro-Trump accounts to mock women, particularly regarding reproductive rights. It is used to suggest that men will control women's bodies and to threaten sexual violence. What's the phrase? YOUR BODY. MY CHOICE.

So how do you define WWIII? At least 18 to 20 countries are directly involved, either through military actions (shooting, shielding, or supplying) or by being targeted by Iranian strikes across the Middle East. A coalition of 32 countries is coordinating to manage the resulting energy crisis.

Direct Conflict: Iran, United States, Israel. Targeted/Affected Countries: Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, UAE. Military Supporters/Actors: United Kingdom, France, Greece, and other partners.

The Minocqua Brewing Company in Wisconsin: "Free beer, all day long, the day he dies. Show us this post when it happens in a few months, and we’ll make good on that promise," the "progressive beer".

Is it just me, or is the "DUMB" virus making its rounds? Our ICE agents seem to believe that our Native Americans are illegal. How in hell can anyone working for our federal government be so incredibly blind, deaf, and stupid? Never mind. Take a look at their pig-ignorant leader(s).

Grumpy Trumpy seems to be slowing down. Here are some headlines I found interesting: +"Shock & awe" marked the start of Trump's term, but now the flood of executive orders has turned to a trickle. The fireworks are over. +The Trump team -- and it's conductor--are running out of steam.

+Is Trump running out of ideas? + Trump is technically a lame duck.. +Existential Trump admits he will run out of steam in one of his rants +Trump's White House is in chaos, with scandals, resignations, and criticism from Republicans. Approval ratings plummet. The last year feels like 10 years.

Just two days before Christmas, President Donald Trump declared on social media that The New York Times “is a serious threat to the National Security of our Nation,” accusing the paper of “lies and purposeful misrepresentations.” Pot=Kettle?

New year's resolutions? Revise the Constitution. Impeach the imposter in the WH. Wipe out the Republicans in the midterms. Tax reforms for the middle class. Healthcare for all. Public Education reform--no taxpayer money for private schools. (Sorry Catholic Diocese)
