As always, worth remembering that the OC problem is downstream of the AD problem which is downstream of much larger UM problems.

Michigan is officially launching a national search for its new Athletics Director. Here are 5 potential candidates to watch: www.maizenbrew.com/michigan-ath...

No early slate NFL for me this afternoon, going to transport myself to a dark and magic realm (the movie theater) and see Wildwood. Then I will suffer through Lions football later.

Wildwood is as good as advertised. There's a coyote army, real magic, Portland jokes, a hot lesbian bandit, fighting bears, a giant eagle voiced by Angela Basset, and eye popping action. This took a lot of talented people a long time to make and you can see the effort in every frame. Bravo

The offensive catastrophe has reached historic proportions

Bill Radjewski@collegefootballdata.com

The short version: • Michigan's worst run game since 2013 • Plays of 20+ yards: #135 of 138 in FBS • Beck's last two offenses were #1 in rushing both years. This one: #81 • Other P4 offenses score 9 more points a game vs. the same defenses

2008 or 2014, take your pick, we have a conference title side of the ball and a clown college side of the ball

The offensive surrendered two short fields off turnovers, leading to all six of Indiana's points Two potential scoring drives killed by back-breaking third down sacks. Both drives ended in missed field goals. Have to settle for a field goal after Berry set them up with his interception return.

We've seen games like this before. The defense will hold and hold and hold (IU has 175 yards through 3 quarters), but unless the ball stars to move on our side, they will break eventually.

I only noticed when editing this that Donovan Edwards celebrated with Travis Johnson on the sidelines after he drew a DPI call!

Losing more Ewoks and X-Wings, but still in it

D held twice despite total offensive fuckery. They can't do that all game, but for the moment it's exactly what we need. Carr will have that shield down, we gotta give him more time.

Didn't have my phone with me, but saw what I thought was lightning this morning, bunch of flashes off to the south. Saw it again and realized it was the video boards from the Stadium lighting up all the pre-dawn fog, real Old Testament College Football kinda morning. Anyway, beat the Hoosiers!

A genuinely unique movie, I have only the flimsiest of comparisons. Fun with an audience, lotta laughs and gasps, and a pretty fast 2h54m all things considered. I've seen people ask not to spoil "the twist". There are anywhere from 5-10 things that could be "the twist". One of a kind.
