something deep inside of me burst into tears in ways only art can describe

my tracking expertise tells me a dork was sad here

any time I look through my notes for a half-remembered line of poetry I discover ten more that are so profoundly beautiful I’m surprised I never did anything more with them

so tender goes this same story of old as our small world tears herself apart once more for now the warming waters rising and we’re diving in our computers babbling in tongues while the word for world is forest and it all begins to burn down again
