- how are you? - good, chillin' and watching my youtube shorts >peeks at the screen >two and half hour long video essay

Hello everyone! I'm finally ready to officially launch my website ✨ And celebrate the fact that I'm doing pixel art for 10 years at this point. Reuploaded lots of my old art an made a blog to yap about various things that I'm interested in. You are very welcome to visit! 👀 cyansquare.art

I'm still in a process of learning this webmastery thing, but it's still often feels like whatever this is x)

I'm curious how many behavioural similarities stage fright can have to posting on social media.

Her name’s Gala. She’s an apple dog bunny thing in her 40s. Had a nice career as a baseball pitcher for a while. Often daydreams and zones out. (Last pic uses an earlier version of her top that had open sleeves.)

Randomly thinking of the word "alienation" and how it implies an opposition to "other kind". My native language has a semantically different analog that will be roughly translated as "estrangement" aka "something I refuse to know/understand" which I feel a bit more descriptive.

i felt like malta needed to be cuter and also more robot-y so here's redesign #1 billion 🥬 i was going for a pokemon lass and a katsura tenjoin thing

I have this idea of making a few articles where I will take one video game and look at each enemy from design perspective and what does it bring to the player. Doom of course will be the first one to cover.

I'm thinking a lot about games that are fun for me are those that create tension by forcing player constantly switch their priorities (not just rock-paper-scissors or red light/green light).

Bike - has an exelent mobility and firepower that allows you to quickly scout the area and/or to support your infantry in combat. The downside is a small crew size makes you abandon a few members of the squad (which makes this thing not very survivable).

I have zero clue how I reached 3k of people who clicked a "follow" button here, not like I post a lot of my works and/or have a focus on being a public persona. Maybe I tend to think too much about the value of consistency on social media. I'm not sure how it works.

But hey, thanks! It's validating to know that someone might read a random rant of mine on a topic that I often barely understand myself (I'm just extremely curious).

The fact that whatever information put out in the open can be consumed without any obligation for the receiving end to study the context makes me think a thousand times about what and how to say things. I'm still not sure how to overcome this fear and write more openly.

I wonder if internet and social media contribute to developing ADHD. I was thinking of how sidetracking is rewarded not just by algorithms but by browsers (i.e. opening a dozen of tabs and making bookmarks is easy from the UX standpoint)

Another thing that interests me is the pipeline we perceive information in from different sources and its relation to the context. Example: you know the context and see the picture vs you see the picture and then you learn the context can result in two different experience.

A contextual information can "frame" the content and otherwise. We see a shop sign and based on its design we can assume what are going to be content and price tags (bearing on our past experiences)

I'm thinking of "socialmedia bad" kind of sentiment and how they influence our cognitive patterns (well, besides well known sociological ones)

Thanks to unprecendented procrastination, I organized like 5 years of #aseprite scripts (to 50+ total). Mostly they're minor improvements but I can't work without most of them. Docs and formatting are low effort (no pics) but mention everything. Look for an aseprite section at 🌏 lampy.casa.

while easy to read, it's incredibly hard to understand GiTS manga concepts and my brain just defaulted to it's a "style over substance" thing most probably I just lack the baggage of sci-fi novel concepts

Decided to do a small experiment: put my phone into greyscale mode and see how my perception of information is going to change.

Gonna try Kagi as my default search engine. Even udm14 parely helps for finding something useful using Google at this point.
