I don't think "democrats" will do that, but I do think the DSA (and adjacent) types would, and their pressure, if elected, will help move the rest of the party. So that's why I am trying to do what I can to help get those people elected. Hickenlooper has to go, come on Gonzalez! -CO Primary, go vote

The weather was bright and sunny with a cool breeze, making conditions favorable for an energized crowd. Nearly 10,000 feet hit the ground at the National Mall in front of the Washington Monument and marched up past the White House, through Black Lives Matter Plaza, and ending at Franklin Park. May Day commemorates a long history of workers and immigrants’ struggles. Protesters showed out for immigrant workers in force and stood in steadfast solidarity with working and oppressed people both at home and globally.

I was the junior member of the Columbia University triumvirate headed by Seymour Melman and Terence McCarthy. We lectured widely, wrote in magazines such as Ramparts and newspapers. The New York Tribune still existed as an alternative to The New York Times, and regularly published our critiques in its interviews and on its editorial pages. Those mid-1960s were the days!
