Edgerunners II was awesome. extremely clever way to write a show knowing the audience is traumatized from Season 1. Once again though, I do think both seasons feel like they couldve used more episodes in the middle.

i like how glitch is now announcing episode release dates a year ahead of time to prevent the psychosis that destroyed the Digital Circus fandom

this also goes for people who infantilize people and say you cant criticize them based on their identity. people are people. just be normal and respectful

ive decided im just going to larp as an animator. im going to find clips from things i like and animate them and put that in my porfolio until i get a job. i will then larp as employed then i will get my own indie show and larp as a showrunner.

starting to feel that drawing suggestive art has held me back massively in my career. my goal has always been to get into the animation industry but i think ive focused so much on the algo and patreon that i have little to no portfolio work to show

extremely depressing that i stopped watching this show when i did. seeing steven go through a VERY similar mental breakdown to what i went through at the same age was surreal. this show probably would have helped me at the time. really good series. ill miss these idiots

Cyy@cyynapse.bsky.social

now watching for the first time

never thought steven would be up there with denji as most relatable characters for me. it really hurt seeing him like that, but i know that i turned out alright, so he will too.

this is the first *big* adult indie animated series that actually feels like it was written for adults rather than being an adult series written for children

yeah nevermind this show was made for me specifically

Cyy@cyynapse.bsky.social

gonna check out Knights of Guinevere episode 2. I didn't really like the pilot much but i believe in always giving things a second chance. same thing happened with TADC and that show ended up being goated

Cyy

i do not engage with glitch fandoms much because theyre all annoying but i think the show leaning way more into darker more adult subject matter was absolutely the right call. in this day and age you gotta filter people

i like every indie pilot to be clear because every single one is a blessing but it didnt hook me like Gaslight District did.

extremely funny that i didnt know about any of this. ive got 4 episodes left. steven is easily the most well written character in the show i love how much he sucks

Stress of work combined with the twitter shadowban made me forget, but this month marks the 10 year anniversary of Ellie as a character! Happy birthday to this doofus

finally caught up on Steven Universe after a brief 9 year hiatus and I think Rebecca Sugar should be legally allowed to kill Lily Orchard

15 year old Cyy was tragically a victim of "long video = convincing" mindset. coming back to the show as an adult and its so much better than i expected. loved the ending and final message.

resident evil movie was good. i have no idea what zach cregger meant when he said they cut the funny stuff out though, the film was full of jokes just like Weapons. was fantastic at recreating the feeling of playing the games, and the audio design/soundtrack was really good.
