I live in CA, prop 40, if passed, levies a one-time income tax on the ultra-rich, & they are spending $10s of millions to ensure a NO vote, by implying it's actually going to tax everyone. It's not, but the authors weren't clear about the targets. So NO will likely win & so will the rich bastards.

I was 6 years old when my best friend, Tommy, shot at me with his dad's unsecured gun; the bullet missed by about a foot. I ran, shouting "It's loaded." He turned it to his head, pulled the trigger, & died. I will carry that to my grave. It is why I support this: calmatters.org/justice/2026...

For over 25 years, I helped create the digital age - I know what hi tech can & can't do. I have been concerned about AI from the minute I first learned about it - everyone should be. How I see it:

Turns out I was following a bunch of dead/suspended accounts. Finally cleaned that up - feels good to have an actual active feed. It's handy to be able to keep my app up to date, & to find those who initially followed me, only to unfollow me later. Whatever, this app works! blueskytracker.app

I was hacked by a notification purporting to be from Bluesky mgmt; I thought I'd done my 'due diligence' when I responded to it, but I was soooo wrong. I'm sorry it affected some of you - & I promise it will never recur.

Trump's "winning streak": he supported the Chefs @ Super Bowl LX, they crashed; & when he attends events, as 1) @ the Commanders home game, they lost; 2) @ Miami, who lost the NCAA; & 3) the USA lost @ the Ryder cup. & now he's poisoned the World Cup. So much losing!

For some reason, I've recently been followed by guys who are, IMO, looking for hook-ups with whomever enjoys things found on places like OnlyFans. I do not understand this - my posts are almost entirely political. Any insight on this would be gratefully appreciated.

Scott Pelley was fired by 60 Minutes for telling the truth. 60 Minutes had been must-see TV for my family since its inception: no longer - it has been polluted such it is poisonous. I refuse to watch anything on CBS from now on, & I hope those for whom facts & truth matter will agree.

I live in NorCal, our primary is 6/2; we are unlucky to have the most expensive election for governor ever. Tom Steyer has broken all spending records trying to win-his ads are ubiquitus, & they're driving me nuts! If he wins, it means the rich can buy political office even here on the left coast.

This is, imo, important, esp given Trump's disgraceful picks. Please consider reposting, too.

"While an unconventional background is not necessarily disqualifying, it does require greater scrutiny of the nomination by Congress.” AAAS CEO Sudip Parikh urges the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, & Pensions to hold an open hearing before voting to confirm James O'Neill.
