Whilst ‘what currency will you use/what’s your plan B’ was raging, all those years ago, I read an article on how 7 former Soviet states had managed the issue: 1 took 3 years, 1 managed it in 40 days (!), the rest between 4 months and 2 years. The currency issue is a MacGuffin.

Always an issue with averages is that high numbers can drag the number up. The average wage in Scotland is £24,000 p/a, this will be dragged upwards by the relatively few high earners. Probably fair to say that the uk average is dragged downwards by Scotland’s 21%. Should I apply for a job at BBCS?
