I was just a bit early. They're being dropped by Google and have decided to exit the SSL business.
Why are all the fixes for the eMudhra certificate issue these odd patches to look at the intermediate certificates and refuse them if they appear in the chain instead of removing and blocking the eMudhra root? Is there a too-big-to-fail situation going on here?
This is... not good. Our ferry system is basically in free fall at this point. The WSF mechanics and engineers somehow ended up with 0% raises through 2029 via an arbitrator. Staffing is at bare minimums, and relies heavily on overtime for normal operations.

Posted this before, but wanted to reiterate for my job-seeking friends who may have missed it: @leonadato.com curates a tech jobs list, refreshed weekly: adatosystems.com/2026/07/31/j... One interesting bit that caught my eye: A "Who's *actually* hiring page": stillhiring.today Hope this helps!
Just found out that something I helped architect a *long* time ago for JPL is now an open source project being used across a few other NASA missions: hysds.github.io/docs/ Tickled pink to have played a small role here!
For those looking for tech jobs, @leonadato.com curates a collection of job listings that he refreshes every Friday: adatosystems.com/2026/06/12/j... Thanks for doing this, Leon!
When there's a gold rush, sell shovels. isaiprofitable.com When the AI bubble pops, NVIDIA will be fine per this chart. They can just pivot back to gaming or cryptocurrencies (ugh) or whatever. Stock will take a hit, but they've still pocketed the money. Everyone else? Holding the bag.
@jamesmunns.com I'm fairly certain the answer is "NO!", but thought I'd ask: Is it safe to deserialize a postcard datagram from an untrusted source (into a struct that has a payload that will be AEAD decrypted with tags and the like)?

An amazing engineer used AI to write health insurance appeals. This is one of the best uses of AI and I love that it is being given for free to help others. SO RAD! this is the stuff that give me hope. tag line: " MAKE YOUR HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANY CRY TOO" fighthealthinsurance.com
@mara.bsky.social is quite committed to contribution artwork. (Pun wasn't originally intended, but, eh, what the hell...)
@lyndie.bsky.social Just saw this in my Apple News feed today!
TIL there is a protocol, kitty, for displaying full color images in the Terminal. Next I need someone to implement a graphical web browser in the terminal so I can run a terminal emulator in a browser in a terminal. sw.kovidgoyal.net/kitty/graphi...
Hrm... the one AI model approved for use in the agency I work for is now banned. It'll be interesting to see how this plays out. www.bloomberg.com/news/article...
