Glad I realised how little EVE online developers respect player time before I subscribed. Impossible to tell if failure at a task is player error, character skill level or glitch. You pat yourselves on the back for this whilst scratching your heads on how to get more players?! Not bright at all.

When I think of someone as privileged what I am really thinking of is someone who has been dismissive of the difficulties of others as imaginary or solvable with effort.

Are artists even involved in making media anymore? It all seems to be about making something to appeal to what market research says a certain demographic will like so as to be extract as much money as possible from as many of that demographic as possible. It’s simple, I’ll spend money on good art.

People most likely to use the word “just” right before suggesting I do something that uses loads more mental effort are the same ones who are least likely to put any mental effort into understanding my disability.

“Common sense” used to mean “this moron thinks they know better than me when they haven’t even applied surface level critical thinking”. Now it seems to mean “I think I know better than anyone else despite knowing nothing about this and having only thought about it at a surface level”.

“Gender critical” people, I need you to consider whether arguing for single sex/gender spaces to exclude trans people by acting like all people born with a penis are inherently sex offenders gives you the moral high ground. In short, it does not.

American teachers obviously back at work as my Reddit feed is full of low/no empathy nonsense, lack of accountability, parent blaming and not one example of a teacher looking at a child’s barriers in anything other than a “punish them to get past it” way. “I’ve tried everything!” but really nothing.
