#CurrentlyReading A Drop of Corruption! I enjoyed the first book so I hope this one will also be good. I love the weird biology stuff this world has to offer. #ADropofCorruption #RobertJacksonBennet #AnaandDinMysteries #Booksky

#CurrentlyReading The Shadow of the Gods! I'm so excited to be starting my first John Gwynne. I just have a good feeling about his books, think I'll enjoy them a lot. #Booksky #TheShadowoftheGods #JohnGwynne

I loved this. It was more of a set-up book and still I had an amazing time. I'm excited for the next one! I enjoyed every pov, but truly loved Varg and the Bloodsworn. That ending had me going wild. The writing was very good as well, it felt a little slow but solid. #TheShadowoftheGods #JohnGwynne

Can't tell if my dinner tasted off because I used low-fat cheese or because said low-fat cheese had been living in the back of my fridge for a very long time... 🙃

This was such a tragic, sad little read, but in a way I also thought it was lovely. The atmosphere was immaculate. I really enjoyed being in Merricat's head, I truly loved her by the end. And I thought Catherine was wonderful too, their relationship sweet. #WeHaveAlwaysLivedInTheCastle #Booksky

SPOILERS . . . . . I immediately read this as Catherine being the protective older sister of an abused younger sibling. Possibly having lived through it herself as well. She was very obviously not the killer early on. That family definetly had it coming.

#CurrentlyReading What Feeds Below! I love fucked up exploration stories, especially when it's going down into the earth. I'm not normally rushing over to read something close after release but this had me really excited. #WhatFeedsBelow #Booksky #TatianaSchloteBonne

Finished! The worldbuilding was everything I wanted from this. Some nasty gore and creatures in here. I was initially not a big fan of the characters and the codependent relationship between Petra and Jade. But halfway through I kinda understood so I got more into it. #WhatFeedsBelow #Booksky

I reread 'What Moves the Dead' by T.Kingfisher and really loved the descriptions of Madeline's 'hair'... #WhatMovesTheDead #T.Kingfisher #illustration #sketch #digitalart #dalblauwart

What a vile, disgusting, horrific book. I had a great time! This is the first time that I find grimdark to be actually grim. I really didn't expect to but the ending had me tearing up. #BetweenTwoFires #ChristopherBuehlman #Booksky

My current #PhysicalTBR. This is a lot for me, I try to read more on my ereader because I don't have endless space ( not pictured: 13 ebooks 😳 ). Discovered some bookstores last month which were... too tempting. Very excited for John Gwynne, been wanting to try him for a while! #Booksky

#currentlyreading The Stone Sky by N.K. Jemisin. Oooohhhh I want this to be good so badly. The Fifth Season is one of my fav books ever and then I did not like The Obelisk Gate much at all so I need this one to save the trilogy for me p l e a s e #Booksky #TheStoneSky #N.K.Jemisin

N.K. Jemisin writes so beautifully and powerfully. A wonderful finale. Very happy to get stone eater lore, I loved the Syl Anagist chapters. This is definetly a trilogy I will reread. I now wonder if I was just in the wrong mood with book 2. #TheBrokenEarthTrilogy #Booksky #TheStoneSky

I even like his humor so I don't understand why I'm bored when I read him. He's the author that keeps haunting me with the idea I should give him another chance. He just feels like I should love him.

Starting King Sorrow! Really excited, I love a big fat book (900 pages... hohoho). Read about 50 pages so far and I'm hooked immediately. #KingSorrow #JoeHill #Booksky #CurrentlyReading

The blind date with a book book! I would've never picked it out myself so I think that's interesting, but also a little scary. The package talked about a himbo knight and evil sorcerer and that just sounded very fun. Hoping for a good time. #ApparentlySirCameronNeedsToDie #Booksky

Fucking masterpiece. A 900 page book that had me hooked for the whole duration, no dips. Every section of the book went in a different direction that kept it fresh yet it all felt cohesive. I loved the concept of King Sorrow as a being. (1/2) #KingSorrow #JoeHill #Booksky

And the characters... they were so good. From characters that were lovable to ones that had me conflicted and those I despised. I loved reading about all of them. (2/2) #KingSorrow #JoeHill #Boosky
