"After further review, 'Untitled Goose Game (Original Soundtrack)' has been restored to stores. There is nothing you need to change on your end." No explanation, and it might take a few days to filter out to stores. I repeat: love to distribute music in 2026.

My Untitled Goose Game soundtrack album has been taken off all streaming platforms without any notification or so much as an automated email. Figuring out a resolution. Love to distribute music in 2026.

Here is the imdb profile shot of Richard Summers-Calvert, the Biddy Blas voice actor

I guess she's deputy now!

I have never met Steph, but her mum Viv was my high school media teacher, and tragically died in Samoa's 2009 tsunami. She left a lasting impression, and I understand Steph and her family have maintained her legacy at my former school. Wish her all the best.

"The Guardian is aware that at least nine of the musicians who played in the Sydney concerts are now helping the Media Entertainment and Arts Alliance (MEAA) with a workplace inquiry about the events surrounding the performance."

I honestly don't think I've ever been to a film screening in my life like last night's viewing of Disclosure Day. Open laughter and derision throughout from some in a packed audience - met with enthusiastic applause at the end credits from others. Wild. Still thinking about it.

My discovery this morning: Adobe made a submission to the Australian National Cultural Policy, calling for legal reforms that would see works "created using AI tools [being] eligible for copyright when there is meaningful human expression and creative judgment" (among other things)

arts.gov.auarts.gov.au

AI is bullshit, and it comes first for the jobs that most resemble bullshit, like university senior managers writing thinkpieces to engage with the marketplace of ideas which circulates on LinkedIn

Josh Taylor@joshtaylor.bsky.social

I learned an academic who wrote about students not cutting corners in learning (by using AI) had used AI to write her opinion piece. Confirmed with the uni last night. Went to Nine about it this morning. Never responded but pulled the article and pubbed their own www.theguardian.com/australia-ne...

If I had a dollar for every time a Brisbane game dev made a satirical golf game with all the boring bits put back into it I’d have like four dollars which is quite surprising yada yada

My good mate Luke Muscat (Who made Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride) just launched the demo for Normal Golf Game on Steam. Looks very fun. store.steampowered.com/app/3510740/...

Really hated seeing these “most wanted” cards in the Mandalorian movie, which are clearly inspired by those used by the USA in the illegal and immoral invasion of Iraq. Rare to see Star Wars - even under Disney - completely miss the vibe of its political metaphor.

Having seen the Mandalorian movie I am deciding to double down on this

With Creed and Black Panther, Ludwig Göransson seemed like one of the most interesting and exciting things to happen to Hollywood blockbuster music in years. With everything since (the exception being the fun Turning Red) I gotta say he's quickly becoming one of the least interesting going around.

This really is tremendous leadership from Freeplay, and the kind of thing that has been glaringly missing from the games sector. This stuff is really important, so games people, do not let this moment go to waste.

Freeplay@free-play.bsky.social

Submissions to the National Cultural Policy close next Sunday 24 May. We need as many studios, gamemakers and sector support organisations to put in submissions. Freeplay's helpful guide on making a submission can be found here: docs.google.com/document/d/1...

I think this is actually still mainstream opinion, but tv technology has changed and widescreens are the norm, so now it's 4:3 content that's commonly converted to widescreen formats. See the controversy over The Simpsons ratio on Disney+ for a good illustration. People don't want bars on screens.

mtsw@mtsw.bsky.social

This was the mainstream, normie opinion about movie aspect ratios in the 90's! People would get actively mad if it wasn't in pan-and-scan! Blockbuster would *exclusively* carry pan-and-scan versions of movies well into the DVD era. Madness bsky.app/profile/emit...

Aside from any of the obvious points, the Jobs Ready Graduates Scheme that ushered this into being and continues to be is a great illustration of the Ratchet Effect in politics, where the establishment right ruins something, and the establishment left does nothing to fix it when they gain power

I feel unhinged and unmoored by the news at the best of times, but why every single politician in the world who isn't a member of his party (and even then, ugh) isn't out demanding his removal right away is just absolutely astonishing

I understand this is a big jump in context, and numbers like this take a while to turn around, but is it not still sort of staggering that 85% of buyers in March 2026 are looking at petrol prices and going hey yeah hook me right up fellas

My “please do not panic about petrol shortages” national address has people asking a lot of questions already answered by my national address

Remembering the pitch I wrote for A Website in 2022 about it being the year tech ate its own entrails with metaverse, NFTs, and crypto turning dollars into discourse, a strategy that would inevitably fail. Rejected for publication, sadly.

Meta is shutting down its VR metaverse on June 15th.

This was the strongest year for original score I can remember in years. Sinners is a worthy winner, and probably would be my choice. One Battle, Hamnet, and Bugonia are also genuinely excellent and would’ve all been my frontrunner in other years. And as the “worst”, Frankenstein is also still good!
