A lot of progress from my last share. Have the MVP done as far as features. Next up: Logging, Stripe, DevOps, Marketing Website... A lot of ideas for improving tracking deal blockers, but they will have to come post launch.

I get the logic behind it, but it is so annoying trying to find the create support ticket button that’s hidden at the bottom of the page or behind 3 clicks

If I’m a sales leader at a technical company trying to grow my BDR team, I’m taking advantage of companies thinking ai replaces junior devs. I’d be seeing if any recent CS grads want to try their hands at technical sales.

I think podcasts are the only medium I consume where I have no idea if I’m part of an audience of hundreds or hundreds of thousands.

More context. Product definitely adds value but isn’t top priority which means more friction to get them to onboard. Going to compliment the new offering with some outbound and help to alleviate the onboarding. Do things that don’t scale type work.

Podcast listeners, do you ever drop a show mid episode because another podcast dropped an episode that you really like? Or is that just me.

I think LinkedIn is the only platform where I will just like someones post even if I have no interest in the content because we are friends

Just had my first AI screener interview. Got a little dressed up assuming it would be on video with an ai avatar. Turns out I got dressed up for a chatbot.

Okay, imagine a chess app where it drops you in a position and you have to identify the best move. I feel like this would be a good way to break a lot of ELO ceilings.

Could have different game modes. Like one where there is only 1 good option you have to find and you play best of 20. Or positions with ~3 good moves and you play until you miss.

I built a really cool free Chrome extension for HubSpot users that I want to post about on LinkedIn, but waiting for approval from the marketplace has to be one of the most frustrating things 😂

Who knows the best way to fix a blurry thumbnail for YouTube? I have used an autogenerated one. I even uploaded a screenshot one to see if that worked. Wondering if maybe the dimensions are off, but is there a good way to fix that? #buildinpublic

Anyone else run into this issue with digital ocean? My graphs for my droplet return an error now. I want to say it is because I changed the ssh port and locked down root login (among other things) for security. #buildinpublic

Starting small, but added test to Deal Blockers. Figured before I launch, I should set up some tests. #buildinpublic

Anyone have a resource of the best SQLite settings to have or even better example of the pragma statements? I’m thinking wal mode etc #buildinpublic

If your checkout has a discount code field and I lack a discount code, I go from being a happy buyer to having discount fomo real quick

Just set up sentry to have better logging for when I start the beta. I did it through a middleware and made sure all relevant errors just passed the error along for the middleware to run at the end. Seems like a pretty clean solution. #buildinpublic

I’ve got an MVP that I’m about to push to prod for the first time and want to make sure it’s all buttoned up for the init before I have more friction on future changes.

Trying to implement free tier limits with server middleware. I’m sending back a 403 error but the client reads it as a 500. Current thinking it’s the fault of the local proxy that reroutes the request to localhost. Been super annoying and kept me up way too late.

I feel like I get punished with notifications every time I like something on LinkedIn. Yeah I liked this person getting a new job and no I don’t want to be notified every time someone comments on that post 😂

Who will be the first to gift their kid the “second brain” they spent years building—that your kid certainly doesn’t want? 😂

The issue with a whimsical side project is that when you hit an annoying roadblock, you often lack the motivation to push through it.

Desperately trying to convince myself the world doesn’t need a personal crm you access through a CLI #buildinpublic
