Now that my sinuses are clear whatever goofy inflammation has been messing with me has seemingly dropped so far I can't coffee in the morning without getting hammered with anxiety. Literally the only two changes. Even black tea is causing problems. I like tea.

Watched Chars counterattack and the final discussion between Char and Amuro and Char being upset because he thought Lalah could have been a mother to him literally made Amuro transcend space and time and turn into pure psychic energy out of anger.

Also the contrast between how Char and Amuro behave and are written. I know char is the product of terrible circumstances. But he rarely accepts what he has done. He's a man child in many ways. From scene 1 we see Amuro talking with Bright Noa as an equal. He's direct.

He doesn't hedge or hide. He takes responsibility for his actions. And so does Chang. There tenderness is true and of equals. And we see in Hathaway the roots of the problems caused by absent parent(s) and he ends up on a similar route as Quess/Char eventually too.

Paraphrasing. "I was angry you killed Lalah" "It was an accident, everyone has lost people in this war...." "She could have been like a mother to me..." "That's the reason you did all this? Your momma issues?" Turns into pure psychic energy and hauls axis out of orbit.

My choice to begin taking up Kintsugi has been weirdly prescient. Progress on my application of kintsugi materials with titebond III continues. Mixing clay with titebond ( Sabi urushi when done with lacquer ) produces a very hard material once dry.

It survived the hot water durability test. The surface detailing did come off with some scraping though. I however discovered that they bevel the edges when gluing it together. This provides tooth for the urushi to stick. I am now using a diamond burr to work the fractures.

Titebond three is rated indirect food contact safe. It is safe to use on wood spoons that make direct contact with hot food. It's just not rated for long term persistent food contact like can lining, etc. This was a cheap bowl I bought from an Asian market.

I'm low key excited after I discovered you can use titebond III to glue ceramics like kintsugi and many of the techniques also work without the allergy issues. After 3 days of curing it sets super hard. I'm now experimenting with final finish on one bowl.

Setting up an old Lenovo as my son's first real laptop. Compared to windows 8 back in the day, new Linux mint install feels exceedingly snappy. Needs a new battery and I might stick a bit more ram in it. But it will be great for basic stuff.

Just tried Warpaints Fanatic line of paints. Utterly fantastic paints. They can be worked until they fully dry. Very little chalkiness. Solid covering power. Needs minimal thinning. I don't know how they did it but it's also very easy to clean from brushes.

Holy wow this is like the old days. "But mah censorship" Nah man. You're allowed to post all the crazy junk you want, bluesky just lets the rest of us ignore it by walking away ( mod list ) No one is required to listen to you in the public square.

You are up to date.
