I have a lot of regrets in my life, but one of my biggest is not buying a new cpu, motherboard and ram a year ago.

Do you ever plant something and by the time it starts sprouting you have no idea what you planted and you either need to take care of some trees over the winter or your cat is about to get some catnip. I really need to label things.

Good design is so obvious when you see it but takes so much refinement and thoughtfulness to achieve.

I just patted myself on the back for doing something good for myself and it kind of felt nice 🤣

Newt keeps improving! I just added the ability to add your own LLM to it which adds features like researching an article further, proof reading your post (not writing it) and asking general questions that will pull content from your feed to help supplement the answer. newt.page/u/samwichgam...

I soft launched my app newt.page so i haven’t been talking about ut much but i just wanted to share this moment as it was exactly why i made it. It felt so rewarding that what i made worked for me. It may not be the next reddit, but I ❤️ Newt newt.page/u/samwichgam...

AMD has me spelling Epic as Epyc every time.

It’s wild that I love @realinfowars.bsky.social Wtf is happening with my reality, @theonion.com is doing good in this world.

The new #siri in iOS 27 is actually… good? I mean good enough at least, I can discuss a topic and it follows along and is helpful. Maybe it’s a low bar in this world of Claude and Gemini but it’s really nice!

My newest app is almost ready! So excited for it!

The market is ripe for See’s Candy to pivot to be an AI company.

Just added ZFS Checksum values to drive health to my Drive Bay utility. This was driven by an unfortunate occurrence during a normal scrub :( github.com/danieltucker...

The wallpaper with Mac OS Golden Gate is about my only disappointment with this release. This wallpaper fixes that!

If I could have one semi useless superpower it would be the ability to unzip anyone’s fly. If I’m losing an argument, *ziiiip* and you automatically lose because I can point out your fly is undone.

It’s wild how much faster #Mac OS 27 feels on my M4 Mini. Honestly the beta feels better than 26 ever did.

I just started using #GitHub Actions to auto deploy images to #Docker Hub and I feel so dumb for not doing this previously. It may take a little bit longer then building locally but having it done automatically is fantastic.

When does hot coffee become just slightly warm "iced coffee"?

Working on my WatchTower app... Pretty sure that's not supposed to happen. github.com/danieltucker...

Why does the #ios ui change so much when selecting an item? I get the color change but it can get shorter with tighter curvature. Such an odd choice.

I’m glad I lived at the right time in the universe to enjoy gifs. The world may be on fire but I can gif about it.

I really appreciate that American Eagle is making products for #nevernudes. There are literally dozens of us and we deserve representation!

I’m honestly surprised the US doesn’t have some arcane measurement for battery percentage. Like we measure it by years with a full battery being the average life of a man in 1870 living in Pennsylvania. “Yeah, I have 59 years, I’m fully charged!”

I respond to one comment about popcorn on Reddit and suddenly /r/popcorn starts popping up in my feed. 🍿

It’s wild to me that there aren’t licensed r2d2 or mouse droid robot vacuums.

Why can’t the #Apple Watch display one face that’s more glanceable when you’re not actively using it and another when you raise your wrist?

My favorite part about AWS outages is not being able to warm up my car 🤣

Instagram needs a way to tell ad makers you already own their product. I love Quadlock, I probably don’t need ads for it still. Can’t I just verify that I already got it?

Two of my favorite tools are coming together which I'm hoping brings awesome things! #thebrowsercompany #arc www.theverge.com/web/770947/b...

Showing amounts below a penny should be illegal. I read this as a much larger deficit then $1.79 when I first went to my billing page 😂

oh man, @usetrmnl.com is releasing a larger version!!! shop.usetrmnl.com/products/trm...

I do not understand how I never have the right cable. I swear, if I need an hdmi to hdmi cable, all I will find is hdmi to usb c, hdmi to display port, hdmi to a 25pin printer cable. If I realize I actually need that hdmi to usb c though magically it'll be replaced with 20 hdmi to hdmi cables.

Wild that this is an actual thing.

It’s interesting how #grok started spewing Nazi nonsense when it was modified to be more in line with MAGA beliefs. 🤔

The new Alpha of #digg is pretty solid so far! Loving the app choices we’re getting in 2025.

My goal for 2025 is to remember target="_blank" makes links open in a new tab. I swear, I'll write code for hours on end that works great and get hung up on this stupid thing that I've written a million times.

People that don’t deposit checks right away are the real problem.

I’m not saying we should, but if ever chain wallets could be useful it would be right now. Hook those bad boys to our $1000 phones that we’re constantly dropping and they finally make sense. Little bungie cords cases.

Add this to the list of signs I don’t understand. “This door must remain closed at all times” It’s a door, and specifically this was on an exit door for some stairs. Can I open it just long enough to leave the building?

With china account for 95% of our imports, it will be interesting to see what the 4th of July will look like.

I just noticed that ChatGPT names files like humans do. First draft was "partner_config", second draft was "full_partner_config", final version was "final_full_partner_config". I'm assuming the next version would be "USE_THIS_ONE_final_full_partner_config"

When I die my estate sale is going to be wild.

Mounted my M4 Mac Mini under my desk. Loving this mount I found on Etsy, it perfectly fits my thunderbolt nvme enclosure right along side the Mac. www.etsy.com/listing/1818...
