There's numerous DM/CM options for LFC Want Alonso-esque? → Stiller Want a potentially elite Alonso-type project? → Mouzakitis Want a powerful 6/8 who can also pass? → El Aynaoui Want an all-action prog-midfielder? → Danois Want all that in one player? → Lamine Camara Are we signing any? No.

The signings from last year were all absolute wank again. The new signings were decent. But last year's signings are going to fuck this club for years - they fucked Slot, they'll fuck Andoni, they're just all shite - apart from MAYBE Hugo, who's still going to be a lazy cunt.

This game couldn’t epitomise this season anymore. Parts shite. Then playing really well and conceding the first shot. Marma being passed to the wrong foot. Wirtz being good but not actually setting up a clear chance.

I’ll be honest - there’s not a single player in this squad that i’d be arsed if replaced. Rio only maybe. Thought i’d fall in love with Wirtz, I haven’t. Hugo has been good but you lose intensity and closing down with him, he’s lazy. Dom has far too many limitations.

Some of them would be better with the right replacements around them - but i’m just not arsed which ones get replaced in the summer. I’d happily sell anyone we bought last summer.

So what you’re saying is that it’s actually more common than going back to back winning the league.

10 – Reigning Premier League champions to lose 10+ games in a season: Leeds United in 1992-93 (15) Blackburn Rovers in 1995-96 (13) Manchester United in 2013-14 (12) Chelsea in 2015-16 (12) Leicester City in 2016-17 (18) Chelsea in 2017-18 (10) Liverpool in 2025-26 (10) Feeble.

There’s a number of things wrong with this squad, the entire management team and even the luck we’ve been getting. But it doesn’t bode well for the future when you have an 18% loss rate with Ali in goal this season and a 60% loss rate with Marma. It’s like the centre backs just then to cabbage.

What a terrible season though really. Who’s actually played good football? City occasionally- and that’s very occasionally. Arsenal are dreadful to watch. Everyone else has been poor. It’s been a dreadful season for actual football.

There’s one thing not beating a bottom place team away when fighting for fifth, but drawing at home to the 17th place team whilst chasing first with 115 charges and the £550m net spent in 3 windows is unforgivable.

Im pretty sure we’ll get Champions League, top 5 get it and we’ll end up at least 5th - but it’s going to be a race of how shit, not how good United, Villa, us, Chelsea and Brentford are, because every team looks capable of losing any game, at any point.

One of the most LFC games ever. Concede a goal on the counter after having all the possession and its their first shot ✅ Make their keeper pull off a world class save ✅ Lose to the team bottom of the table ✅

Ah well the Slot haters are back out in force now. Boring to be honest. He could/should have maybe made some more changes but how do you account for Ali’s foul no matter who you bring on. Dom too deep for the daft flick on. I don’t mind being defensive but not closing down drives me mad.

People saying “he’s the manager he should have taken Salah off” 1. For who? 2. We’ve only just recovered from the last strop he threw, you cannot drop or sub him, that’s the situation you’re in as a manager, it’s politics.

“Pep Guardiola has finally cracked the code” No he hasn’t. He had fuck all to do with it. They had pressure for 1st 30 mins, they were shit in the 2nd half and we once again made 2 silly defensive errors that Pep had nothing to do with.

I mean lets be honest. 2-1 flatters them, 3-1 would be ridiculous, I’ve no idea why Ali is up there. We created a lot with our pressure but ultimately Salah offered even less than Gakpo who offered little. Those wide areas are a problem now. Along either silly mistakes like that flick on.

I don't blame Todibo to be honest, 90+ minutes of fans chanting CHELSEA CHELSEA CHELSEA CHELSEA CHELSEA CHELSEA CHELSEA CHELSEA would be enough to drive me to want to kill as well.

I find it interesting how #LFC fans online quite rightly correct to a £230m net spend this summer in arguments and now they hate Slot the same people have gone to "we spent £450m" as a stick to beat him with. I hate football fans.
