Re-introduction post for the new wave of people Hi, I'm Daniel!👋 Here you'll find anything from cute 3D art, to more technical stuff & electronics, to game/jam projects #gamedev #techart #shader #ttrpg #b3d #unity3d #arduino

very cheap and simple outline shader using wireframe mode and displacing the vertices outwards render_mode unshaded, cull_front, wireframe; void vertex() { VERTEX += NORMAL * 0.01; } #godot

Not sure when this happened, but the Wikipedia app now rocks! It gives you a daily/discovery selection of articles in your languages of choice, and it has a map feature that is useful for spotting cool places when traveling

Honestly I don't think procgen is dead with AI, I think it's going to be more alive than ever. People creating for joy and partaking the flow of an artists . Instead of the randomized slop generated by AI, it's joining a bespoke creative pathway by another human.

I’ve made lots of progress made on my cozy building game: 🌳🏡Island Architect🏡🌳. Therefor time for a new gameplay collage for #screenshotsaturday! #indiegame #gamedev #indiegamedev

Aquí una de las pruebas donde nos acercamos mucho al resultado que queríamos. Me sigue pareciendo mágico😂

Then we thought of a co-op puzzle game in which each player only has partial information for solving the level

Using old school 3D glasses, we made our custom visors, that mask either light blue or yellow. Getting the effect right was a lot of trial and error

Very interesting to see stories that have been translated and transformed through thousands of years to our days, and that probably have an even more ancient origin through verbal transmission

I recommend donating if you can. The transformation Blender has seen in the past few years has been incredible. I'm donating because, as someone who uses expensive Autodesk tools, it's been great for me too - 3DS Max is in much better shape since Autodesk has had to worry about a "free" competitor.

The awesome #GodotEngine powered, #opensource procedural 2D/3D texture creation software Material Maker just released v1.4 and it's a massive upgrade. If you are looking for a free Substance Designer alt, look no further! gamefromscratch.com/material-mak... #gamedev #indiedev

gamefromscratch.comMaterial Maker 1.4 Released – GameFromScratch.comMaterial Maker 1.4 procedural texture creation software was just released, porting to Godot 4.x with a new shader system, tons of new nodes

So far I’m finding some pros and cons of using three.js vs html5 export from Godot or Unity + Great performance + Responsive + Works on more devices - No editor - Lots of boilerplate code needed
