I've been doing a lot of research for my next video on political violence, and it really is stunning how much of it escalated exactly when Trump got into politics. His rhetoric is absolute cancer. All it does is spread & destroy from within.

I apologize for neglecting this account. That's what always happens with me when I start a new account somewhere. My old mind has to become accustomed to actually using it. Just in case you haven't seen my recent YouTube posts, I'll reply to this post with them (there are three):

Right now, Christians all over the country are expressing outrage that the bishop at the inaugural service expressed the values and teachings of Jesus Christ. That's the current state of Christianity in America.

I don't feel hatred for Trump & Musk. I try not to hate anyone. It's far more visceral & involuntary than hate. They disgust me. Vile. Perhaps related to hate, but I find everything about their character to be putrid. They're like fungal parasites that invade the motor function of their supporters.

Elon paying someone to reach a high level in a video game, so that he can play it on a stream and pretend he got to that point on his own, when it's clear he has no idea what he's doing, is the perfect metaphor for his businesses.

It's no wonder he's so insecure. Imagine living life that way, pretending to be accomplished when you really just pay others to do all the things for which you take credit. Deep down, it has to weigh on him. Imposter syndrome, except he's a legit imposter.

The vast majority of what is stolen from you will not be taken by burglars and muggers. It will be taken by corporations, governments, and your own employers. But they have the benefit of hiding what they do, so it doesn't seem as explicit. Our rage needs to be adjusted accordingly.

I was thinking about making a video about people's misconceptions that we live in a meritocracy. Started writing a script for it today. So far, I've been exploring how wealth begets itself, so working harder doesn't necessarily equate to making more. You can do less and make more...

I wanted to tie that into how risk aversion affects which media gets produced, leading to a very homogeneous entertainment industry that gives us nothing but remakes and sequels. I was also thinking of how the defenders of such an economy are the first to complain about the results of it.

Why is hating trans people so addictive? It's usually the same modus operandi. Some famous person dips their toe in & makes one post against trans people. Then it gradually snowballs to the point where it's all they talk about anymore. Like crack. It takes over their personality. Why?
