Respiratory viruses, like measles, RSV, or the flu, can be especially dangerous for infants. Why? Because the baby’s airways are tiny - about the width of a straw. Any swelling can restrict breathing fast.  Consider getting vaccinated or consider getting monoclonal antibody against RSV.

Life of a Pediatrician: Three days ago, I’m at conference and meeting other pediatricians on social media and taking selfies with them. Then back to work yesterday and I went to go see a baby at the hospital and took a selfie with him.

I had a Wonderful Time at the AAP national conference and exhibition. Recharged my battery 🪫 🔋 with like-minded people. New friends. Hope.
