I have official reached "listening to the demands of Crows" and "spending my morning watching them eat my offerings" age.
We had a mating pair that hung out in our yard early this spring, so we starting leaving peanuts out for them.
Now we have 7 adult crows and one juvenile. A whole murder. (1/2)
(2/2) and if we forget to bestow our offerings upon them, they will sit in the tree and caw until we have learned the folly of our ways.
