@rmburnett.bsky.social new trailer for Project Hail Mary. Can’t wait to hear your take on what the marketing department put together.

@rmburnett.bsky.social FYI Dean Koontz wrote the novel Demon Seed in 1973. The movie was based on the novel but Koontz didn’t write the screenplay.

@rmburnett.bsky.social Hey Rob! What are your favorite dog movies? Mine are Where the Red Fern Grows (1974) and Call of the Wild (2020).

@straczynski.bsky.social What are the chances of you editing a B5 anthology series of short stories in the way you edited The Last Dangerous Visions? I’m assuming it’d be largely dependent on who owns the book rights to B5. I’m losing hope WB is ever going to move forward with the new B5 series.

@straczynski.bsky.social In the past you’ve adamantly requested writers not send you writing samples to avoid legal issues. Question: Could you recommend resources aspiring writers may use for writing advice? I can’t remember if you’ve ever suggested alternatives to “…stop writing shit.”

@rmburnett.bsky.social What are the chances of a new Star Trek movie since Zoe Saldana got an Oscar when Paramount jumped to get Michelle Yeoh in a project post her Oscar win?

@rmburnett.bsky.social Have you seen reports Roberto Orci died?

@rmburnett.bsky.social Hey RMB. Back in 1985, Linda Hunt won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for playing a male character in The Year of Living Dangerously (1984). Would it be worth your time comparing Karla Sofía Gascón’s Oscar nomination as a transgender woman? Why not Best Actor?
