dasl.ingDASL — Data-Addressed Structures & LinksA small set of simple, standard primitives to work on content-addressed data.

Believe it or not, barely a day later, we've pushed the frontier of bright colour even further out — all thanks to @ericportis.com squeezing the juice out of wide gamut monitors. We will stop at *nothing* to bring you INnOvaTiON!

DASL@dasl.ing

At dasl.ing, we work at the forefront of next-generation technology for democratic networks and highly-colourful websites. Many said we couldn't push the frontier any further. But we worked hard and @mosh.bsky.social found a breakthrough to make the site even more colourful. Tell us you love it!

ooo shout-out @dasl.ing for having the important bit in the spec 💪 > A CAR stream must have CIDs that match the data body that follows them.

dasl.ingDASL: Content-Addressable aRchives (CAR)The CAR format offers a serialized representation of set of content-addressed resources in one single concatenated stream, alongside a header that describes that content.

Hey fam! We've been shaping a governance model for DASL, pretty lightweight, in line with the project's philosophy. You know what we'd love? We'd *love* to hear from you (yes, specifically *you* right there) about what you think about it. See: dasl.ing/governance.h...

We got our first usable alpha version 🙌 diffuse.sh/4.0.0-alpha.3/ Silently cut the first alpha release not too long ago, but since made some big changes like: - Implemented the DASL MASL spec + `.tile` CAR files - Bi-directional data lenses - Audio engine rework

Reminder that we have a CID Congress for your this coming Thursday: luma.com/l9xglle8. Come early, come often! Sad news, @norman.life won't be able to make it but we'll have him over next month instead. If you have a quick demo to give instead, let us know!

FISL, from @norman.life, is an HTTP lookup API that maps CIDs to locations. A client sends a CID and receives the URLs at which the content can be retrieved, together with the identity of the publisher that announced them, when it is known. Check it out! dasl.ing/fisl.html

Long overdue: DASL has left the "We Love ICE" code hosting platform and set up a home with our good friends from @tangled.org: tangled.org/dasl.ing/das.... Full version history copied, but issues had to be done a little weird. But they're there.
