The #dragoncon Abolish panel (we come up with something we want to abolish in #StarTrek and the audience votes) was a blast!! Fun panel lineup @jessiegender.bsky.social @tawnynewsome.bsky.social @yayforzig.bsky.social @spottedgiraffe.bsky.social @vandybethglenn.bsky.social Denise Zannu and me!

The #Dragoncon #panels were incredible! After years of knowing @jessiegender.bsky.social digitally we finally met irl! Which was awesomespectacular! Jessie is one of those amazing people with fantastic energy and a good heart! Was a blast being on panels together!!

@heatherantos.bsky.social has an amazing origin story and even with all she's done in #comics as an #editor and #writer I feel like we're just in the first chapter of her career! You can watch the entire @soulofthestory.bsky.social episode here: www.youtube.com/live/DXyrKlD...

OTD, September 12, 1992, NASA astronaut Dr. Mae Jemison made history as the first Black woman to travel into space. She launched aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour on mission STS-47, serving as the science mission specialist. #nasa #science #pioneer #space #spaceexploration #startrek 🖖🏾 drmae.com

Yet another #dragoncon perk was being able to reconnect in person with #subsumestudios creator the amazing #afrofuturist #dedrensnead who is doing BIG THINGS! #dragoncon #writing

It’s an understatement to say #dragoncon nights could get a little Goofy! FUN TIMES! #dragonconcosplay

Another reason that made my first #dragoncon so special is I got to reconnect with my friend and fellow #startrek #strangenewworlds contestants alum Kevin G. Summers. It’s been a long time since SNW8 👍🏾😃🖖🏾

One of the best parts of attending conventions is reconnecting with friends and colleagues. Thankfully these two amazing gentlemen @kradec.bsky.social and @johnjacksonmiller.bsky.social are both! Our panel “Writing Star Trek” was a big hit! I’m delighted we took these pics! #dragoncon #startrek

#dragoncon nights are the best!!

During my first day #DragonCon I ran into Trader Jawa I traded a Princess Leia keychain (given to me by my friend @laitykellie) and the Jawa gave me the plans to the DEATH STAR! At least I’m pretty sure that’s what it is — where’s R2 when you need him?! #dragonconcosplay is fantastic! #starwars

Today is a big day: Star Trek turns 60 years +1! As we begin the next 60 years of boldly going into the unknown, I framed this gift from @daytonward.bsky.social —the four foundational pillars I believe define #StarTrek and a reminder the future we all want can only be achieved, together. #StarTrek60

On September 8, 1966, Star Trek premiered. Sixty years later, its hope for a brighter, more diverse future still unites millions worldwide because the message isn’t exclusive to any one group or generation - it truly is Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations.🖖🏾 #StarTrek60 #startrek

Amazing first day at #DragonCon! It was a pleasure meeting Joe Campbell and making an instant friend. I was stunned when he surprised me with this handmade aluminum SISKO sign—he made for me when he heard I was coming to the con! His craftsmanship is incredible! #TheAutobiographyOfBenjaminSisko

I hope to see you all at #DragonCon If you’re attending, check out these panels! #DragonCon2026 #StarTrek #StarTrekBooks #TheAutobiographyOfBenjaminSisko #WritingCommunity

It looks like someone has been reading #theautobiographyofbenjaminsisko and made a very cool MUSIC VIDEO covering Benjamin’s life! I LOVE IT! Check it out! #StarTrek60 #StarTrek 🖖🏾💜🖖🏾 youtu.be/YIDFo59kQlw?...

The incredible @jennyrjohnsonart.bsky.social took a moment away from her latest work to pose for my shot! I’m delighted she’s going to be one of my upcoming guests on @soulofthestory I’m really looking forward to having a conversation with her! #STLV #startrek60 #art #artist 🖖🏾💜👍🏾

Every fan I meet humbles me — there is no party without YOU! So THANK YOU #STLV for selling out #theautobiographyofbenjaminsisko and for your drop ship orders afterwards! #startrek #startrek60

It had to happen — #section31 stopped by to check out #theautobiographyofbenjaminsisko and see if all the buzz about my book poses a threat to the Federation! I think he’s going to have a fun time reading it! #STLV @thatothersanta #startrek #startrek60

I took this fun shot backstage as @larrynemecek.bsky.social was warming up the crowd right before we went on for our @dkbooks.bsky.social #startrek #timelines panel! Good times with my fellow writers @kellifitzwrites.bsky.social @ineti.bsky.social and @trekstorian.bsky.social🖖🏾 #startrek60 #stlv

My one #STLV regret is that I didn’t get an opportunity to spend more time with Nichelle Nichols sister Ms Marian Smothers, but she was gracious enough to take a photo with me! Such a wonderful woman!! She had a great time at the @syfysistas.bsky.social booth!🖖🏾💜🖖🏾 #STLV #startrek60

The phenomenal Mr. Casey Biggs who played Damar on #DS9 stopped by the @syfysistas.bsky.social booth and as he walked by I said “Resist!” And to my delight of delights he kept going with the quote “Resist today, resist tomorrow!” So DOPE! Then we all took a picture! 😁🖖🏾💜 I LOVE #startrek #stlv

THANK YOU #STLV #startrekfamily #theautobiographyofbenjaminsisko came out nearly 3 years ago and you all still show up for it! I’m going crazy for you all and your continued love for my book! WE ALL LOVE #startrek60 #ds9 🖖🏾 #startrek

Getting together and sharing our love for #StarTrek #DS9 and #theautobiographyotbenjaminsisko is as easy as ABC! 🖖🏾💜🖖🏾 #startrek60 #stlv
