Mildly humorous that the CLF is running an ad against Marie Perez where they point out bad things that they believe and want others to believe and then add at the end that 'she is not who we think she is.' So, they think she is bad but then don't believe that? Can Republicans be more stupid?

Does Trump know that when he's gone, one way or the other, we will take his name off from everything, pile it on a raft in the reflecting pool with his WH plans, his triumphant arc plans, his Kennedy Center plans as kindling and set it on fire. ALL news networks are invited to the event.

Please forgive my ignorance but how in hell's half acre did none of the people in Congress noticed heavy equipment being placed at the White House and did not run to the nearest court to get an injunction?

Some are saying that it's too late to stop Trump's ballroom project. I doubt it will be finished by Jan. Trump has never finished anything on time. If it is, Democrats need to immediately repurpose it as a homeless shelter. A little vinyl flooring, subdivide into apartments.

Now that the right wing of SCOTUS has decided that laws passed by Congress can only be enforced by Congress, I guess that leaves the door open for all laws passed by Congress to be ignored. It is illegal for Trump to do construction or remodeling of any public structures without express permission.

I was on my morning walk today, which takes me buy a building site where two duplexes are going up. A truck was delivering materials and a picture was required. In case anyone was confused about building costs rising because the president is an idiot.

Dear Donald, whether you are still alive or not, we will remove every evidence of your existence except for a footnote in history books indicating that the 47 president is only important for the damage to US democracy and alienation of our friends.

Dear Don, we really want you to die. If you need help, don't rely on those feckless idiots in your administration, they would botch it for sure while running to see who gets to sit in your vacant chair. You should seek professional help.

While I didn't know Dolly on a personal level, I always thought of her as a good and kind person. She was personable and funny. I hope that all of her fans take a page from her book and emulate her good and kind ways.

I was enjoying avoiding buying e-books from Amazon and buying from Kobo. Today, I opened a link in an email from Kobo and encountered endless requests for cookie use and other tracking devices. Now, I have to say goodbye to Kobo. Why do companies feel they have to do this?

For all out there still blaming Biden for the terrible economy, you really cannot be serious. If you still think that gasoline prices are high because the spot price of oil has increased, then you should know that oil companies profits are skyrocketing. Think about it.

Just watched a Fandango channel commercial for what is called free TV now. FAST, yes it has an acronym, 'free ad supported television', is quickly expanding. While TV has never been exactly free, 2-3 commercials was the price. Now a dozen 2-3 min commercial breaks and of course the cost of Internet

My brain may be a bit addled because it only occurred to me recently that coders working on AI are trying to eliminate their jobs. Why would they do that? Will they eventually figure it out and sabotage AI?

New rule. Fuel refiners are not allowed to raise prices unless they can show documented proof that they paid more for the oil inputs. Fuel prices based on imaginary oil costs, is just stupid.

I am concerned that Congress and the courts are going to allow Trump to decimate our national parks and monuments. Republicans have been dreaming about this for decades. Left up to them public lands are for private exploitation.

The story is DHS is trying to build a fleet of deportation aircraft to be operated by private airlines. Trump is getting the government deeper into private business and yet he says he abhors communism.

Concerning SCOTUS opening the billionaire election spending tap: Corporations are definitely not people. Money is definitely not speech. Allowing the rich to buy politicians is definitely bad and we will fix it in January.

Listening to Chris Hayes' concerns about SCOTUS negating Democrats efforts if they win Congress. Maybe they should take a page from Republicans. Flood the zone. Stack up bills and keep passing them to undo SCOTUS until this court dies off.

I find John Oliver talking about the feral hog problem a little interesting. The areas where feral hogs are most prevalent, are probably also the most heavily armed. It's hard to reconcile that people there haven't just shot anything that moves in the neighborhood.

Question: Is Trump's name actually gone from the Kennedy center facade. Has anyone seen it? Anyone not afraid to say? Is Trump trying avoid before and after pictures? Is Trump trying to hide the obvious damage to the facade? Just wanna know.

VP Vance made a statement questioning the validity of the LA mayoral race apparently because there won't be a Republican on the ballot. I'm sure other people find this weird or perhaps unacceptable. For one, I am elated that elections are not necessarily between two parties.

We hear a lot about Trump requiring loyalty or about Trump loyalists. Trump confuses loyalty with a willingness to commit crimes in his name. When push comes to shove, their will be no loyalty either to Trump or from Trump.

While my addled brain was idling this morning, maybe because of the news about Philadelphia's 'President's House' controversy and from watching a Washington documentary, I began to wonder why white southerners rail against DEI and yet accepted slaves 'taking their jobs.'

I have found myself wondering if, as the mid-terms creep ever closer, if some Republicans in Congress are deciding against defending Trump's insanity in hopes of retaining the support of their constituency. Probably insane wishful thinking but one has to hope.

I can only think that someone is preventing Trump from seeing all of the great comments here. If he was aware surely he would spend even more time complaining. Maybe there isn't any more time left.

Trump, once again, the picture of health. Anyone actually believing this BS should really have their head examined. He's dying and not in the normal course of aging and that has to be very scary for him.

I think that the news and political operators should stop throwing water on the new Iran deal whatever it is. Instead they should be praising Trump for his successful 'strategy' in ending the war. Once the deal is done, they should praise the hell out of Iran for concluding a great deal. Psychology.

Talk again about making DST permanent. Why don't we just get Superman to fly clockwise around the global again to shift the time? Stupid, right? Just about as stupid as continuing this idiotic clock change twice a year. Is it really that difficult to start work at 6 rather than 7?

A politco was stating that Jan 6 participants were harmed, lost cars, homes, civil rights, and deserved to be compensated. By his logic, every convicted criminal should be compensated as well. The insanity is tangible.

'Draining the swamp', no matter who suggested it, was never about decreasing cost of government. It was about removing the restraints government puts on corporations and individuals. Restraints that were put in place because of abuses of corporations and individuals. Republicans hate the NO word.
