Davesphotos 🇨🇦 🍁🍁🍁

Similar to a shot I posted last week, but I prefer this composition having gone through my files for a second look! From Tiffany Falls in #Ontario. #photography #waterfalls #nature #landscape #EastCoastKin

Today's walk along the river! #Photography #EastCoastKin #Guelph

Posting an older shot from a windier day! #Photography #EastCoastKin

A rather determined fern! #Photography #EastCoastKin #Guelph #Nature

It was so windy I had trouble getting colour up in the trees, but it was nice a settled on the ground! #Photography #EastCoastKin

A fall paddle on Guelph Lake #Photography #EastCoastKin #Guelph

It is that time of year! #Photography #EastCoastKin #Guelph

Just a reminder to be careful in Algonquin. It is fully of scary, dangerous animals... #Photography #EastCoastKin

A lone Tamarack lit up by the setting sun #Photography #EastCoastKin #Algonquin

Flowing water in #Muskoka #Photography #EastCoastKin

When I am in the vicinity, I always stop at the Torrance Barrens Dark Sky Preserve (never been there at night though) with the hopes that I will spot a rattlesnake. I guess I will have to keep on looking! #Photography #EastCoastKin

Something and colour and textures.... #Photography #EastCoastKin

Today's efforts were rewarded at the end of the trail! #Photography #EastCoastKin #Muskoka #waterfalls

Fascinated by a kid's fascination with the water...... #Photography #EastCoastKin #ClassicMono

The put-in at Canoe Lake, Algonquin. Done this lake three times and that is enough for one lifetime! Also the lake where the famous Group of 7 artist Tom Thompson disappeared many years ago. The mystery was never solved. #Photography #EastCoastKin #Algonquin

Happy #Stunday! Pog Lake, Algonquin. #photography #EastCoastKin #Algonquin

Early morning mist in Algonquin Park! #Photography #EastCoastKin

Something very special about northern Ontario! #Photography #EastCoastKin

Something about this shot just makes me happy! #Photography #EastCoastKin #Macro #Nature

The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down Of the big lake they call Gitche Gumee The lake, it is said, never gives up her dead When the skies of November turn gloomy #Photography #EastCoastKin

Wishing everyone a happy Labour Day and may tomorrow be brighter and more hopeful! #Photography #EastCoastKin #LakeSuperior

Lots of abstract opportunities in Lake Superior! #photography #EastCoastKin #abstract

Happy #Stunday everyone! A sunset over the Goulais River just north of the Sault! #Photography #EastCoastKin

Someone out for a sunset paddle! #photography #EastCoastKin #LakeSuperior

Agawa Bay at sunset... #Photography #EastCoastKin

Just got back from a trip to Agawa Bay on Lake Superior or Gichigami, with three generations of Nodwells. Had an amazing time and such an amazing place! #Photography #EastCoastKin #LakeSuperior

Off to Lake Superior for a week. No cell service, no news. Please keep the world running properly while I am gone!

A local dam waterfall! At sunset. #photography #EastCoastKin #Guelph #Stunday

Possibly my favorite shot this year. I saw this young girl in the red dress last evening, and had about 10 seconds to get the shot. No idea what my camera settings were at the time. Just point, shoot and pray! #photography #Guelph #EastCoastKin

I'm not sure what she is doing. Perhaps reflecting?? #Photography #EastCoastKin #Guelph

I have become increasingly interested in abstract type photography. Wasn't sure why, and then I remembered some pictures my Mom kept that I did when I was 4 years old. I think I have always been abstracty. #Photography #EastCoastKin #ICM #Abstract

Confession time. I got very discouraged with BlueSky over the last several months. I would check my account every morning and discover 200 new followers overnight. 99% bots with excessive cleavage. I got a tip to block bskystarterpack.bsky.social and it worked! I am now getting real people!

Happy #Stunday! 😊 yes, I stopped on the bridge! #Photography #EastCoastKin

Sometimes, I feel like this in the morning.... #Photography #Flowers #EastCoastKin

For #Stunday! Just taken in the garden. #Photography #Macro

Happy Saturday! #Ontario #photography #EastCoastKin

Harvest time....for wheat straw and wind energy! #Photography #EastCoastKin #Ontario

A beautiful evening at Riverside Park! #Guelph #Photography #EastCoastKin

Pouring out there so going through some old shots and messing with your head a bit! #Stunday #Abstract #Photography

Crossing the bridge and watching the weather! #Photography #EastCoastKin

A shot of Canadians watching news out of south of the border.... #Photography #Macro #EastCoastKin

I haven't shot any birds recently, but figured I would haul out my big lens for some fun! #Photography #EastCoastKin #Birds

Thought I would brighten up your day with a picture of a housefly.... #Photography #EastCoastKin #Macro

I got caught in the rain yesterday and shared a park gazebo with this fellow. He is in a bad way (homeless and destitute), but he asked me if I was hungry and offered me half of his sandwich, which I declined of course. His name is Lee and he was willing to share the little food that he had.

The garden is exploding! #Photography #EastCoastKin #Macro

Remnants of Goldie Mill in Guelph. I'm thinking this a great name for a new grunge band "Goldie Mill and the Ditch Lilies!" #Guelph #Photography #EastCoastKin

This is the worst I have ever seen. Air Quality index is over 500 (where anything over 300 is considered hazardous). It is like a Halifax fog but with a bad smell) So grateful for our air purifier! #Photography #EastCoastKin

I took this shot last year when the smoke was "bad". Today, it is so bad there is no sun visible at all. I feel trapped inside... #Photography #EastCoastKin #IHateSmoke

A little bit of colour to brighten up your day if it needs some brightening! #Photography
