I hear a lot of false information on the Kerrville flood. The NWS was staffed. Since 2016 the county and state have been considering a better flood warning system. There were reasons or excuses for not appropriating money and getting it done. Need flood gauges, a NOAA radio ($50) and alert horn!

Here in West Virginia a local Mexican restaurant employee has been taken to Texas by ICE. He was going to his scheduled immigration hearings. What am I missing? Why are we looking to deport these people? Our immigration system has been broken, meaning they can’t get quick hearings. Awful!
