Ross Kemp would have rugby-tackled those scarecrows to the ground and stamped on their heads until there was pumpkin pulp everywhere. #CelebrityTraitors

Just let out the biggest cheer at the end of Last One Laughing: Halloween ep 1 when it previewed what’s coming next. The look on Reece’s face! #LastOneLaughing

Have rewatched the first series of Tales of the Unexpected and have realised that the twist is usually Seemingly Meek Person A takes revenge on Clearly Horrible Person B for being a complete twat. #TalesOftheUnexpected

We’ve not felt this sorry for Ross Kemp since that tape of Sharon talking about ripping Phil’s clothes off was played in the Vic. #CelebrityTraitors

Of all the BBC closures, I'm worried about Radio 4 Extra - where will they repeat the old Lord Peter Wimsey serials and the Miss Marple adaptations with June Whitfield?

Rewatching The Silence of the Lambs on BBC Two. I took that menthol-cream-under-the-nose thing that they use in the dead body scene and applied it when I used to change my babies' nappies.

Booked a ticket a month or so ago to see Reece Shearsmith introduce Creepshow at the BFI...and now I realise it's on the same night as The Celebrity Traitors Final. Damn it!

No, Julie! Too soon. She used to make my job sooooooo easy back when I reported on #Corrie. Put me at my ease. Always answered everything. I genuinely looked forward to interviewing her. Lovely person. #CelebrityTraitors

In 1976, Multi-Coloured Swap Shop created the template that BBC Saturday morning kids TV would use, with tweaks for 40+ years. Even a few ITV Saturday morning kids shows like Saturday Banana would use it. I can remember when the number was 01-288-8055. #SwapShop50

Hilarious that everyone just wants to be genuinely affectionate towards Ross but he’s so used to aggro that he can’t handle it. #CelebrityTraitors

To get you excited for Swap Shop's 50th anniversary tomorrow, here's an edition which ended with Noel covering the corpse of John Craven with a shroud.

Anyone who didn't get around to seeing Star Trek: Prodigy while it was on Paramount+ or Netflix, it's coming to ITVX this week. #StarTrek #StarTrekProdigy

Shout-out to Robert in Fopp Covent Garden. Popped in today, bought Jagged Edge on Blu-ray, and Robert on the tills chatted for 10 mins about shlock 1980s' thrillers. Proper customer service. You don't get that on the Amazon checkout page.

I can't believe we're now essentially running the same stories regarding Jack Lowden's unsuitability to play James Bond as were run when it was Daniel Craig in contention.

One of the nice things about working at Radio Times is that readers still send you letters through the post - and sometimes (as in this case) they're even complimentary.

All it takes is for autumn to arrive for us to see how relevant scheduled TV still is. Monday-night quizzes, Bake Off on a Tuesday, the finale of the landmark 70 Up, plus the twice-weekly treat of Celebrity Traitors just around the corner.
