Congratulations to Lorne Doerkson on becoming B.C.’s next premier. Serving this province has been the honour of a lifetime. I am so proud of the progress we've made and everything we've done together to make B.C. a stronger, fairer, more caring place. Thank you, British Columbia.

Voted this morning and brought my favourite people. If you haven’t voted yet, polls are open until 8 p.m. Bring your family, bring your friends!

Don’t open the gates to Conservative cuts, costs and extremists. Tomorrow, every vote counts and I’m asking for yours. Our team will fight every single day for you and your family.

Supporters of the BC NDP and the Green Party share a lot of the same values. Strong public health care, protecting the place we call home, and asking the wealthiest to chip in more to build a stronger B.C.

That’s why we're asking for your support and your vote to stop Conservative cuts, higher costs and chaos. If we stand together, we can build B.C. strong.

Joyce Murray and I share the same values: strong public services and a healthy environment for the next generation. Thank you, Joyce. You’ve served British Columbians in Victoria and in Ottawa, and your support means a great deal to me.

Here’s the question the Conservative leader won’t answer: how do you improve health care while cutting $2 billion a year from the budget that pays for hospitals, surgeries and clinics? You can’t. Our plan asks those at the top to chip in a bit more, so we can expand health care – for everyone.

Having a nurse with time to focus on you makes all the difference. That’s why a BC NDP government will put minimum nurse-to-patient ratios into law, starting next with emergency rooms. Better care for patients, and a better place to work for the nurses who look after us. Thank you, nurses.

My dad was a lawyer, and he used to tell me: no matter what happens, lawyers always win. And if the Conservatives bring personal injury lawyers back into our car insurance system, that’s exactly what will happen. The Conservatives want the lawyers to win big and they want you to pay for it.

This election is bigger than any one issue, including the election timing. I’ve talked with a lot of British Columbians who are frustrated, and I hear that. What I hope you take with you into the ballot box is an important question: who is going to best protect my family in this time?

Thanks to mayor-elect Pete Fry for joining us in Stanley Park this morning. On a day when Alberta is voting on its future, we came together for one simple message: whether it’s Canada or British Columbia, we’re strongest when we stand together.

The Canadian Armed Forces have confirmed that Private Aidan Goulding of North Vancouver and Private Hayden Lykkemark of Langley have tragically died at CFB Wainwright.

In this moment of profound heartbreak, as British Columbians and Canadians, let’s wrap our arms around their families, supporting them and joining in the mourning of this horrible tragedy.

If you’ve voted Green in the past, I’m asking for your support in this election. In 11 seats last time, the Green vote was the difference between electing a Conservative and electing a New Democrat.

The differences between us and the Conservatives are stark: on private health care, on cutting the services your family depends on, and on protecting old growth and the places we love for our kids.

My heart is with the families waiting for news after the tragedy at CFB Wainwright, and with the first responders, doctors and nurses caring for the injured. We’ve offered Alberta all the help British Columbia can give. Please hold our Armed Forces members and their families close today.

In Prince Rupert, B.C. meets the world. Our plan will double our critical mineral exports to global markets through this port. That means good jobs on B.C.’s northwest coast, and more money for health care, education and the services we all count on.

We’re speeding up permitting and working shoulder to shoulder with the Prime Minister to get it done. The BC Conservatives oppose that. We’re going to stand on our own two feet and build B.C. strong.

There’s a clear choice in this election. We can keep building and hiring, or we can cancel and fire. We’re choosing to build. We’re choosing to keep people working. A BC NDP government will deliver a toll-free Massey Tunnel that gets people and goods where they need to go.

Up to $20 back in your pocket every time you fill up. Our plan cuts up to 30 cents a litre off gas by suspending part of the gas tax and reining in big oil’s profits at the pump. It’s one of the ways we'll make life more affordable, and how we build B.C. strong.

Protecting public health care is how we build B.C. strong. Today in Delta, I signed our Public Health Care Guarantee. Every BC NDP candidate has signed it too.

It’s our pledge to keep American-style privatization out of B.C. We won’t let anyone charge you for care that’s covered by your health card, let people pay to jump the queue, or pull doctors and nurses away from our public system. We can guarantee it. The BC Conservative can't.

800 health care workers have come here from the U.S. to look after patients, not insurance companies. I’ve committed to tripling our investment to bring even more, and to protecting our public health care system from American-style privatization. That’s how we build B.C. strong.

Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours! We spent a day at the pumpkin patch at Emma Lea Farms, and it’s pretty hard to beat. I hope you all get some time with your family and loved ones today. Every day, I’m thankful for mine.

AI data centres use a lot of water. Here in B.C., we’re doing things differently. A BC NDP government will strictly regulate how much water data centres use and make them report it publicly. And if there’s ever a shortage, it won’t be farmers or communities that go without. It’ll be the data centre.

There are people in B.C. right now who are trained as doctors. They’ve passed their exams and they’re ready to go, but they can’t get the practical training they need to practice here.

Our plan opens a new bridging program at the new SFU medical school, so they can get off the sidelines and into our hospitals and communities, delivering the care people need. That’s how we build B.C. strong.

Today in Richmond I committed to freezing car insurance rates for another three years. That's a full decade of frozen rates for B.C. drivers.

He wrote that 'everything's on the table, including opening auto insurance to private competition.' That's the Alberta system, where premiums have surged by 65% and drivers pay twice as much.

Since we cleaned up ICBC, the average driver has saved about $500 a year. The current BC Conservative leader signed a secret letter to the trial lawyers promising to replace our system, then denied it on camera.

Our plan offers them interest-free loans of up to $1 million, so they can get through this and come out the other end stronger. And when they give a young person their first full-time job, they'll get a $5,000 tax credit.

Today in Surrey I committed to helping small businesses through Trump's trade war and recover from the recent wildfires. Small business owners face tight margins at the best of times. Unfair tariffs and this year's wildfires have made it even harder.

3. Help businesses find new customers outside the U.S. and buy Canadian 4. Give independent grocers a fair shot with a new food terminal in the Lower Mainland 5. Cut gas prices by up to 30 cents a litre for truckers, cab drivers and small businesses

The BC Conservatives have spent this campaign defending big oil and the grocery giants. We're standing with the local businesses that keep our communities going. That's how we build B.C. strong.

Our plan will: 1. Offer interest-free loans of up to $1 million to help small businesses recover from the wildfires or Trump's tariffs 2. Give small businesses a $5,000 tax credit when they hire a young person for their first full-time job

The Conservative leader went behind your back and promised personal injury lawyers he'd bring back the old car insurance system, and undo all the work we did to get rates under control. It's not just reckless. He's selling out every driver in British Columbia.

In tough times, British Columbians look after each other. That's why we're asking people who have a little bit more to give a little bit more, so seniors and families get the care they need, when they need it. That's how we build B.C. strong, together.
