By way of an intro, I'm a mostly urban environmental photographer who has spent the last 10 years of so photography in and around South Wales & the West of England, using both film & digital, colour & black & white (although I have recently started doing a bit of landscape stuff). Thanks!

An image from "This Is All There Is". A continuation of themes I have explored previously; beauty in the banal, the mundanity of ordinary objects and places and achieving immortality through creation. Duffryn 2025 Yashica Mat 124G, Kodak Gold 200 #filmisnotdead #photography

This is stunning work by Shaun, honoured to call him a friend. We were lucky enough to travel to Cardiff recently to see this exhibited. An insight filled with love and respect.

Here is the progress on my latest commission. This cross is for the church in Llantrisant in oak salvaged from the church's bell tower which is undergoing refurbishment. The rays will be gilt with 24K gold and Oak will be fitted in between them.

Just a gentle reminder. Forgot to mention that there's also a fantastic exhibition of art on the walls by local artists. Would love to see you there.

Got a little thing going on with 6 other photographers and it's getting a launch at Turner House in Penarth on 20th September 2025. There's going to zines, prints and a great opportunity to meet lots of people. Be lovely to see you there! Entry is free.

For me the most important museums and galleries aren’t the big institutions, they are small organisations with deep and meaningful connections to their communities like @ourmoh.bsky.social and @workersgallery.bsky.social – places with a passion for what they do and which make a real difference.

The endless pursuit of profit will see AI doing real and lasting damage. The impact on the creative industries and wider society will be profound and long lasting. There is no substitute for human imagination but the shareholder must be paid no matter the cost.

This post is unavailable.

Come along and see this excellent body of work.

The Outsiders touring exhibition will open next on 1 June at @workersgallery.bsky.social and will be there for three months. Delighted to be working with such a well-respected gallery on this. The exhibition will include a ‘gallery in a box’ for those in care who can’t travel to see the exhibition.
