HEAVENS ABOVE!: Rapidly shifting weather conditions last week generated optimal conditions for rainbows, and I was out on a walk between the heavy rain showers when I captured this one over the Forth Bridges. #fsprintmonday (Oct)

The No. 60163 Tornado makes its way up the incline towards Birkhill on a visit to the Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway. The Tornado may look like something from a bygone age, but at the time of its completion in 2008, it was the first new-build steam locomotive for the British mainline since 1960.

ILLUMIN8: Finally got around to processing an image from the Falkirk Wheel event at the weekend - celebrating 25 years of the Millennium Link project with a spectacular light show.

FOREST FRAME: Whilst exploring some local woodland I came across these two trees that framed the twisted branches of a smaller tree in the background perfectly. It's a scene I'll definitely return to in the autumn as the colours start to change. #fsprintmonday

RUST RINGS: I find the diverse range of textures and hues present in these weathered details quite fascinating. The intricate details, like the tiny cracks and flaking paint, add an extra layer of complexity to the overall aesthetic. #fsprintmonday

TURN OF THE TIDE: Low tide on the foreshore at Bo'ness presents an opportunity the birds to gather and forage for food on the mudflats freshly exposed by the retreating tide. #fsprintmonday

First time I’ve won an #FSPrintMonday since it changed to a monthly comp 😊

🏆 #FSPrintMonday Winner Announcement 🏆 🥇 Congrats @davidqueenan.bsky.social This composition shines due to its symmetry and leading lines, drawing the eye through the arches. The glassy water creates a flawless mirror reflection, the warm sunset glow beautifully contrasts the cool raw concrete.

🏆 #FSPrintMonday Winner Announcement 🏆 🥇 Congrats @davidqueenan.bsky.social Great dramatic lighting and foggy atmosphere at sunrise. The ruin provides a strong subject, beautifully silhouetted against the golden mist filling the valley, the more you look at the image the more you see.
