Good morning. Off work today & apparently in a battle with Kylo's klepto tendencies. He's so far stolen the remote to my son's gaming lights, something shiny from a bin (granola bar wrapper?), a shoe box top, & the butter I was melting in a cast iron skillet for scrambled eggs. Melting butter 😑🤦‍♀️

Late getting home today but 'twas for good cause: had my eyes re-checked because my new glasses were...well...I couldn't see with them on 🤓 & I also snuck in to Marshall's for two new brown sweaters (because autumn) & some funky fun plaid pants. My son asked if one 'fit was my scarecrow costume 🤔😅

I really wanted to play until the girls aged up, but it's time for me to turn off the computer for the day. I log off with Daphne, Johnny, & Sophie working on breakfast & Phoebe still snoozing upstairs. Nite all! (Pardon the food on the floor; Sophie didn't like rice porridge)

Kylo just "found" Yuji hiding in a box, exposed his lair, then tried to subdue him. Yuji not only escaped, but turned the tables & is now the aggressor. A stare down followed, with Yuji throwing the occasional paw. Methinks Kylo has lost this round. I wish I were faster with my phone.

I'm brainstorming ideas for a Halloween costume for a small family party. My thoughts so far are Marvel's Scarlet Witch, an alien, or a werewolf. I want to wear it to work on Friday as well, so I need find something work-friendly (face paint & face-covering masks are not allowed)

I would love to be on #Traitors. I don’t care about the competition (though it might be fun) but just as an observer. I find the dynamics of the power of suggestion & the hive mind mentality fascinating. I’m sure the game is manipulated to some degree, but I’m often amazed by the decisions made.

Daphne is gonna have her second baby this morning in my Sims 4 save, so I loaded Nameberry for naming ideas. It's disappointing that Nameberry is now just another subscription...that I won't pay for. I'm so tired of everything being a subscription 😑

mini Sims update: Daphne & Johnny are very happily married & are expecting their 2nd child. Successful in their careers, they've moved to a bigger Copperdale home. Phoebe just tried her first food & will age up into a toddler soon. Johnny is an adult now; Daphne's BD was delayed by pregnancies.

Happy Sunday, all! Sun is rising & it's currently raining softy. Sounds nice. I need to fill the bird feeders though... My taste is finally coming back & I am enjoying a quite strong coffee. Planning to make banana bread & chicken pot pie today. We'll see... Wishing everyone a peaceful day.

I have finished push mowing my lawn. 4 flipping hours because it was so tall (mower was in the shop). I’m exhausted. Twisted my ankle, hurt my knee. I have showered. Gonna eat some cold pizza & take a nap 😆

my DNA Origins has changed on Ancestry AGAIN 🤦‍♀️ *English = 59% *Celtic/Gaelic = 17% *Bavarian/German/Austrian/Belgian = 16% *Ashkenazi Jewish, Czech, Dane & Acadian = 8% Lots of % decreases, some increases, + new areas & more specificity. My dad will be happy that Scots-Irish has joined the chat

6:25am Yuji climbs into my bed - under the covers - lies on my feet, & attacks Kylo who is sleeping on top of the covers beside me. Kylo gets down, I stop him from eating out of the litter box, & he leaves the room in a huff. Yuji follows him, probably to continue annoying him. Happy Caturday 😸

I think I’m the only customer in here under the age of 60… A group of men are discussing business & taxes. Table of ladies chatting about some millennial bailout & their blintzes. Mixed table are having a bible study & their salvation. This is kinda fun.

What pack is this from and how do I stop/undo it? Daphne is most definitely NOT having an affair & I don't want this. Scandals are already disabled; I turned them off after they got "caught" woohooing in public. What happens in the sauna, stays in the sauna 😉 Help!

Happy Monday! Seems that I forgot to click Complete Purchase when I ordered pet food & I’m now out of cat food. Yuji is not amused. Currently counting the minutes until our local grocery store opens so I can buy a few cans to hold us over.
