Our OG art got updated with the new cosmic starry void eyes they got! 🎉😍 Thanks to @kuridelblack.bsky.social for re-making their eyes for us. 😁 Eyes were originally designed by @apheliondusk.bsky.social here: bsky.app/profile/dawn... #warcraft #worldofwarcraft #wowoc #commission #dawnsongtwins

The OG art of the Dawnsong Twins in Argent Dawn EU! 😤 This gem, absolute GEM, was made by @kuridelblack.bsky.social.😍 Super proud of this piece + artist was 1000% amazing to work with. 🎉 Commission them, love them. We love them to infinity! 💜 #warcraft #worldofwarcraft #wowoc #commission

Hi @worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com & @support.blizzard.com! 27th October means "Early Name Reservation" for Forever. I bought the CE for Forever, but it'll be here in Feb 2027 (wave 2). Do I have to wait 'til 2027 to get my WC3: Reforged xpac key and other digital goods? Do I miss reservations? 😭

I'm pretty sure your Hallow's End post is showing outdated information in some places @worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com @support.blizzard.com. 🤔 worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com/news/24310656 i.e.: "Characters level 10-80 can queue up", wouldn't it be 10-90 now? #worldofwarcraft #warcraft #midnight

The Rexxar Pack just got re-added to the bnet store like 10 minutes ago. Same price of 30 EUR/USD, but hopefully now without the missing textures? Pack: shop.battle.net/product/worl... Zhevra Rug (somehow limited time of 30m+??): shop.battle.net/family/world... #worldofwarcraft #warcraft #Bnet

Raenore Dawnsong@dawnsong.me

Seems Blizzard removed the Rexxar (Champion of the Wilds) pack from the Bnet store. 🧐 Not surprising given all the texture issues it had, but I'm curious if & when it'll return (and the price). 🤔 Texture issue imgs attached. shop.battle.net/en-us/produc... #worldofwarcraft #warcraft #Bnet

Eavesdropper 🔍 0.7.0 and Sippy Cup 🥤 0.9.0 are both going out to CurseForge. 🎉 - Preliminary Forever Beta support. - Title Bar Full Name. - 6 new toys. - Mentions window remembers open between restart/reloads. #worldofwarcraft #wowrp #warcraft #roleplaying #programming #addons #wowf #wowforever

New 35 emoji pack for the Dawnsong twins! 💜 @thordram.bsky.social is an AMAZING artist, 2-3 days turnover, insane! 🎉😱 Commission him: discord.gg/qCqBsNHQwJ (Tell him Rae sent ya 😉!) He's also currently hosting a raffle for chibi art! 🎫 #warcraft #worldofwarcraft #wowoc #commission #dawnsongtwins

Raenore Dawnsong@dawnsong.me

Our emoji repertoire has grown again! 💜 144 emojis in total now for the Dawnsong Twins! 😱 New: - Pack 6 (REMAKES pack 1) - Pack 7 As per usual @thordram.bsky.social did an AMAZING job. His work, quality, speed and prices are amazing. 🎉 #warcraft #worldofwarcraft #wowoc #commission #dawnsongtwins

So it seems Forever Beta re-enabled "Title Friends". It still functions the same as on 12.1 PTR. I added "Peter One", shows lvl 10 rogue. (img 1 & 2) They switch to alt, shows lvl 1 alt. (img 4) Does not show other faction as online though (img 3). #worldofwarcraft #warcraft #midnight #wowforever

Raenore Dawnsong@dawnsong.me

As it turns out.. The new friends are called "Title Friends". 🧐 They function as BNet, but without BattleTag or showing other games. 🤔 Friend request to Jeff & they accept? It will also show when they're on Jane, or Joe. I do not like this privacy-wise! 😭💢 #worldofwarcraft #warcraft #midnight

I understand that some people prefer "B.Net Lite" and want it so that their "WoW Friends" (IG naming) can see all their characters for easier social opportunities. But I do hope we'll get some communication on this, as it being acc-wide is not communicated anywhere publicly. Mutual accept is good.

For context, the Forever Beta using the new Title Friends UI still shows this updated info for "World of Warcraft": "These friends are restricted by character and game." It did update with "The recipient must accept the request to become friends" at least.

Preview post for Eavesdropper 🔍 0.7.0! - Forever support (+ Theme!) - First and last name tag support. - Show full name on title bar. - Mentions window remembers open between restart/reloads. #worldofwarcraft #wowrp #warcraft #roleplaying #programming #addons #wowf #wowforever

Raenore Dawnsong@dawnsong.me

I'm happy to announce that Eavesdropper 🔍 will be available as your Forever (RP) companion. 😜 Same familiar features we offer on Retail, but using a new fitting & crisp theme by @peterodox.bsky.social. #worldofwarcraft #wowrp #warcraft #roleplaying #programming #addons #wowf #wowforever

I'm also happy to announce that Sippy Cup 🥤will be available on Forever. 🎉 Unfortunately only two consumables, but now it'll be able to add in Forever-specific things. 🫡 Little UI refresh as well, temporary! 🎨 #worldofwarcraft #wowrp #warcraft #roleplaying #programming #addons #wowf #wowforever

Eavesdropper 🔍 0.6.2 should be releasing now across CF and Wago! 🎉 - Chat Histories (select & copy) 🗒️ - Names in NPC speech bubbles! 💬 - Retroactive Main Chat ⏪ - Changelog preview links 🔗 - Bugfixes 🐛 #worldofwarcraft #wowrp #warcraft #roleplaying #programming #addons

Raenore Dawnsong@dawnsong.me

It's preview time! Eavesdropper 🔍 0.6.2! 🧐 Chat Histories! 🗒️ Every window title-bar menu will feature a new Copy History option. Opening chat history as selectable text with formatting options. 🧐 #worldofwarcraft #wowrp #warcraft #roleplaying #programming #addons

11 Sept

Sippy Cup 🥤 0.8.3 is now rolling out to Curseforge and Wago! 🎉 Added: - 1 SL toy (become a Korthia attendant). Fixed: - Additional situations involving secrets in combat and other times aura info is hidden. #worldofwarcraft #wowrp #warcraft #roleplaying #programming #addons

Changelog entries with a Bluesky or X (Twitter) preview post will now display a clickable icon. 🧐 Clicking it copies the link instantly so you can open it right in your browser. 🔗 For example if you ever try this on 0.6.2's, you will come to this thread. 😉

10 Sept

Last but not least, some minor bug fixes will also arrive @ 0.6.2. - Main and dedicated windows will now properly respect your History Size settings instead of capping at 300 messages. - Plus, a fix for Blizzard emotes and rolls clashing with "Total RP 3: RP Name in Quest Text".

Names in NPC speech bubbles! 💬 "Format NPC Dialogue" (Adv. Formatting tab) now display your chosen (RP) name right inside the NPC speech bubbles. 🎉 You're no longer doomed to be just 'Johnsw', but you can be referred to as the one and only true 'John Stormwind'. 😉

10 Sept

Retroactive Main Chat ⏪ This is a small quality of life update, but "Apply to Main Chat" will now work retroactively. Emotes and rolls already currently on your screen will automatically reformat when you toggle it or change your name display settings.

8 Sept

This was another blast to work on together @peterodox.bsky.social! 🎉 Good update, good QoL as usual. 🫡

Peterodox@peterodox.bsky.social

With today's update: Pending changes can now be moved over to another outfit. Pending situations are also stored. Closing the Transmog UI with pending changes and then reopening it will automatically select the outfit you were editing.

5 Sept

Eavesdropper 🔍 0.6.1 should be releasing now across CF and Wago! 🎉 Few quick fixes & minor additions. 🫡 - Enable Hyperlinks (with tooltips) - Main indicator wipes on target change. - NPCs no longer wipe history. #worldofwarcraft #wowrp #warcraft #roleplaying #programming #addons

5 Sept

The Main window now correctly hides the New Message Indicator when you switch targets (focus/mouseover/target). 🫣 Because it did not immediately wipe, it might've felt like it stayed longer, because other new messages coming in (after the switch) would add their own timer to it. 🧐

5 Sept

Last but not least (of the noteworthy changes)! 🎉 Hovering over an NPC will no longer wipe the current history you were viewing. 🫡 NPCs are real yappers, but Eavesdropper is player-focused. So it was accidentally trying to show you a chat history that did not exist. (Oops) 🫣

3 Sept

Thank you @worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com @support.blizzard.com for introducing this in 12.1.5! 💜 It's a long time coming, this is the sort of QoL that we always love to see! 🎉 Hopefully also more currencies being warband-transferable? 🤔 #worldofwarcraft #warcraft #midnight

Whew.. I think I've covered the most important things. 😅 0.6.0 was a huge undertaking, and I hope you'll all have a great time with it once it's out. I'm super grateful hearing about my addons being talked about in RP spaces (and even outside of them!) Thank you, always! 💜

Changes! 📣 - Full French translation! - Performance improvements (Chat & RP names refresh faster!) - "Name Display" override on every window, default "Follow Profile Settings". - Group & Mentions can show up to 1000 messages. - Main window now has optional new message flash.

Fixes! 🛠️ - 's & ", " starting emotes will now properly display. - Dedicated Window broken "Rename" removed. - "Format NPC Dialogue" turns itself off when 'Total RP 3: RP Name in Quest Text' (addon) is detected & used. - Scrolling in Main Window froze timestamps & messages.

Clickable Senders for Groups & Mentions! 🎉 Hovering over a name will show it underlined, informing you it can be right-clicked. It'll bring up the unit menu so you can quickly whisper, invite or make a Dedicated Window with them. This'll enable some quicker interactions.

Name Display override for Main / Blizzard Chat! 💬 Not strictly a new feature, but if you prefer to see just the first name in Blizzard's chat while using Full Name in Eavesdropper that's now possible. Also some minor redesigning of the Advanced Formatting page, see below.

Clean, Recognizable Layout! 🎨 With the help of @peterodox.bsky.social (Narcissus, Plumber, DialogueUI), each window features a clean icon. Instantly know what type of Window you're on, no more guessing. We've also added a thin scrollbar, which pops out on hover. For easier scrolling!

Dedicated & Group Persistence! 🧠 Sometimes the game needs you to /reload, or you need to take a step back and you get logged out. No worries, because all our windows now persist everything for you between sessions. If it was open at session end, it'll restore itself! 💪✅

Profiles Revamp - Export & Import! 🔄 Switching between PCs a lot? Want to share your friends your setup? Just like to keep a backup? We've got you covered in 0.6. 👌 1. Export profile / global settings. 2. Store or share the text. 3. Import it. 4. Busy RP session saved! 🙏

Groups Player List! ✅ To make consolidating people together easier & improve context: - Add your current target to a group through the title-bar menu. - In that same menu, you can remove (or re-add on error) players quickly. - "Jump to Context" button has been added as well.

Mentions History! ❗ Every message aimed at you in one place, from keyword hits to Blizzard emotes (e.g. /poke, /wave). 🫵 Requested by members that play roles that assist people (bartenders, vendors, etc.). 🫡 Also features a "Jump to Context" button for every message.

Mentions are that familiar Eavesdropper timestamped chat log. 🧾 Together with the earlier mentioned Jump to Context button: When pressed, opens a dedicated window to that specific chat message! ➡️ Open it: - /ed mentions. - shift-click minimap button. - right-click yourself.

I still can't understand that cross-fac addon comms weren't in Midnight. 💢 Cross-faction guilds and cross-faction neighborhoods exist that -CANNOT- RP together unless they are: - Grouped - In a In-Game Community - BNet Friends Elixir of Tongues is also still needed.. You can do better, Blizzard. 😭

hello blizzard a vibecoder has fixed(?) cross RP and will probably advertise it and release it soon which means addon comms are bound to explode from something catastrophic and idk if your coughing baby servers are ready for the hydrogen bomb that is SendAddonMessage

The t-shirt seller in Booty Bay now sells this year's new additions to "Free T-Shirt Day". 🫡 This is from Argent Dawn EU, not sure if NA is the same? 🤔 Each seem to cost only 1 copper (for now?). 🎉 #worldofwarcraft #wowrp #warcraft #midnight

17 Aug

Update to the above. 🚨 I was informed by some NA players that the vendor should now have spawned there, also selling these shirts for 1 copper. 🧐

For Plumber users: A new issue emerged in 12.1 where the Housing Dashboard appeared empty due to an unexpected interaction between the addon and the game. It's been fixed in the latest release, so remember to update your addon.

15 Aug

Eavesdropper 🔍 0.6.0 is still cooking in case people are wondering why a 12.1 build hasn't been released yet! 🫣 I was going to add one new thing.. Which became A LOT more. 😅 However, 0.5.1 should work just fine on 12.1 for now. 🫡 #worldofwarcraft #wowrp #warcraft #roleplaying #programming #addons

Sippy Cup 🥤 0.8.2 is now rolling out! 🫡 Smol minor version out for patch 12.1! 🎉 Added: - 1 new toy (another snek 🐍 appearance). Fixed: - ElvUI styling for the new Aura Icon on popups. Thank you for all your support always! 💜 #worldofwarcraft #wowrp #warcraft #roleplaying #programming #addons
