Credit where it is due. There has been a huge amount of optimism about democrats ending the house in November. I am thankful that people have held back on speculating wildly about whether Jeffries is who should become speaker when they do. That debate, too early, is toxic.

Furious about this Cornell university frat story. I’m disgusted and sickened by the whole thing. The 7, happily free and living their lives. The 57 on the chat, who (probably) knew better and demonstrated straight up cowardice. The faculty who did nothing. Accountability must come to them all.

Texans are good people. They treat each other with respect. This guy has no respect for us nor his own colleagues, nor the rule of law. Talarico seems like a really decent Texan, and that’s a huge difference!

IDK how anyone thinks Paxton is good for Texas. 21 people were murdered in Uvalde, including 19 children. Calling that part of God’s “plan” is beyond grotesque. Some comments reveal more about a politician than any campaign ad ever could. This is one of them.

In a way, I’d find it both surprising that she’d been so corrupt all along, but it’s not off brand for someone who has voted to support Trump like 90% of the time… on key votes, she swung on his direction.
