Thomas Gray & Liam Ebbs - "It was you" Sunday bliss (I keep on coming back to this track, something about the melodic bass, the wavy keys, the crunchy double-time drums, the background field samples... it all clicks together beautifully) analogueattic.bandcamp.com/track/that-w...
Also it reminds me of this great Bertrand Tavernier movie, "L.627", about narcotics officers in Paris. letterboxd.com/film/l627/

I don't know if this qualifies as Formica punk, but I love the design and the interior looks great (cc @bouletcorp.bsky.social ) www.jalopnik.com/2235027/1970...
Hard choice(*) between subsistence farmer and elevator installer/repairman. * not a hard choice, subsistence farming is insanely precarious and dangerous

Is @letterboxd.social broken for other people, or is it just me? When I try to log a movie, the review box often closes mid-sentence, drops me down to the search box, and forgets all my text... It's been like that for a few days now.
I love how Joe Hisaishi composed the soundtracks for Takeshi Kitano's "Hana-bi" and for Miyazaki's "Princess Mononoke" at roughly the same time. Lots of common motifs and melodies, yet they're both unique. music.apple.com/us/album/han...
