Too many Americans don't understand representative democracy. Politics is more like a football team rivalry to them than it is about self rule. My dad made sure I recognized my responsibility to pay attention & to see our govt complies with our Constitution. Must be many parents didn't bother.

Why is anybody surprised? He's always worked for Putin and everybody knew it in 2015. He's always been against Ukraine. He tried to extort Ukraine for votes, remember? I know I'm not a genius, but goddamn, Republicans seem so frickin' stupid to me. We're losing a war, and they're helping the enemy.

Almost two years after the Eaton Fire, I sat down with Altadena survivors, firefighters, and community and elected leaders to hear their stories and see the damage that's still here. Trump is still sitting on $30 billion these families are owed. I won't stop fighting until it's delivered.

The USA is losing a war and Trump invited Putin, who is openly aiding the other side develop supersonic cruise missiles, to the G-20 meeting, even though the rest of the world voted him out for his aggression in Ukraine. Trump isn't even trying to win his own war. His boss is on the other side.

Why isn't everybody in the USA freaked right the fuck out about this war we are losing, all the money we are dumping directly from our treasury into the strait of Hormuz for no good reason except trump lives by social media conspiracy theory? How is everybody so calm?

NO media 1000s are marching in DC to defend voting rights; 90 orgs signed on, Reuters sent photographers, but local media Bernie Sanders, AOC and Martin Luther King III attended Wa Post buried it A Black-led march is visible in DC only after somebody else reports it Repost the march they buried

I watched a documentary on nova last night that described Americans as split between people who think the wealthy should have power (trickle-down) & people who think as many as possible should be as prosperous as possible (trickle up), then went on to describe our history in that context.

I'm trying so hard to hang in there, but I can hardly watch the news. I'm so heartbroken and infuriated by maga. It makes me feel so ashamed that our generation let trump happen, let our representatives stop representing us and our court willfully misinterpret our constitution. We are meek.

Shouldn't it really bother all of us, maga and democrat and independent, that we spend so much on our military, yet we can't even defeat Iran? We supposedly spend 8 times more on our military than any other nation...and they're depleting our munitions easily. who is getting all that money?

We're celebrating the dictatorship with chicken tenders and watermelon today, but we would have celebrated the same exact way for a weekend. There's no joy in my favorite holiday. I'm just glad I got to live most of my life before the USA fell.

Haitians, Syrians,....my place is very rural and nondescript. There's one RV electrical outlet. I follow our Constitution, whether the president does or not. What you are experiencing is not the USA. It's the morally crumbled remains of the former USA, which trump demolished. I'm willing to help.

It sure looks like a no win situation for Trump in Iran, so I have an idea for him that he hasn't thought of yet. He could turn over Netanyahu to Iran in exchange for opening the strait. It's a win-win. The win because they get Netanyahu and we win because they get Netanyahu.

my free idea to Democratic legislators: subscription tax. the entity requiring a customer to subscribe in order to use a service pays a tax on every payment made by the subscriber. There's no reason we have to subscribe to every service to use it once or twice a month. We should pay as we go.

Should we win the mid-terms, I urge the Democratic Party to sidestep the SCOTUS ruling : immunity while in office. NO offense to the SCOTUS Institution (it's jiggered), but we can read the Constitution... & it's the law we should follow and enforce. Every American knows no man is above the law.

Mark Meadows contributed greatly to the attempted overthrow of our 2020 election, yet he has disappeared into the maga crime and christianity network unscathed. We'll have to choose a few to hold accountable, because we can't prosecute all of maga. Meadows and Rubio deserve special attention.

I spoke with a marine expert last night who monitors ships for this war and they found that there are several boats in several different sections of the ocean moving unusually slow over areas of important cables. They said this is a sign of them dragging their anchor to destroy the cables.🧵

I'm a long time apple person, just changed to Android..I was just starting to adjust, then I did a normal software update....Holy cow, it loaded a shit-ton of apps I don't want onto my phone. Do I have to go thru this every time I update?

The sooner the Epstein files are released, the sooner he’ll be out of office. If I never hear his name again it can’t be soon enough. Can. Not. Wait.

Not a single lawbreaking ICE agent has been arrested these past 14 months. Not a single state has had the balls or the morality to do so. The rule of law is dead in the USA and replaced by the rule of terrorism. I grieve for us all.

You must be completely miserable if you are still pretending to admire trump. I'm finding some small comfort knowing I was right all along and some of my old friends and relatives who cut me out of their lives are now realizing they threw a true friend away for a liar.
