This year, we're making online tickets affordable no matter what your geography, economy, or work situation with pay-what-you-can pricing. We want everyone to have access to great workshops and hands-on threat hunting training!

Tickets will go on sale July 7, and the conference will be held November 8-9. Last year the online tickets sold out on the first day, so we doubled the number available this year and split it into two rounds to give people a better chance

We've received so many excellent workshop CFP responses for DEATHCon 2025, and we'll be sending acceptance messages by tomorrow, June 1st! After workshop leaders confirm acceptance, we'll be listing the workshops on deathcon.io/workshops.html over the next few weeks. Thanks all!

This year, 100% of the proceeds from merch sales will go to support KC7 Foundation to help them bring more free training through games to people who want to learn cyber security skills!

Chilling out at #hushcon2024 meeting new friends, enjoying tasty beverages, hearing about the struggles of hardware hacking (respect!), trading stickers, and crocheting a hat to keep my hands busy. This con always feels like home and I love it!

Last DEATHCon, we noticed that some people wanted an Intel CPU to run Windows VMs but only had Apple silicon, or they didn't have enough disk space to run VMs for workshops, so next year we're going to try making some dedicated mini computers available for people to use remotely over Tailscale!

This one small box holds 14 TB of nvme storage, 368 GB of DDR5 RAM, 120 Intel CPU cores, and one 🐸

We would be remiss if we didn't also mention that Greg is a co-founder and instructor at Level Effect, which provides high quality cyber security training classes at Pay-what-you-want pricing to make it affordable for everyone. We greatly admire that kind of dedication to leveling the playing field!

20 minutes until voting ends, and we'll announce the winner! I mean, all the workshop leaders are winners, which reflects in the close results and many high ratings, but only one can be crowned and jacketed as the People's Choice best workshop leader
