Today's album. The word "genius" gets tossed around a whole lot, and most of the time about people who...well, aren't. Tim Smith, however, truly is one. Cardiacs: Sing to God. GOAT. IYKYK. RIP Tim. <3 #MusicSky #prog #bestmusic #musicfeed

New project! In anticipation of my upcoming bio on Mariusz Duda, I've started a series of posts about Lunatic Soul. You can find the first couple here at my blog. The rest of the album sketches will appear over the next few weeks. Enjoy! theresonancecascade.com/lunatic-soul/ #musicsky

Hey all you progheads out there-- The new Amplifier album is out, and it's smokin'! Definitely worth checking out. These guys have really upped their game the last few years. #amplifierband #progrock

I thought it was Reacher, but it turns out they have started filming Neagley (Reacher spinoff) in my neighbourhood!

Two important albums are turning 20 this year. I'll probably say something about them on my blog at some point. Stay tuned. 😊 #riversideband #secondlifesyndrome #porcupinetree #deadwing

We got some snow last night. Just a bit. 😉 #snowstorm #snowmageddon #bitofsnow #welcome to Canada

Riverside Live.ID Blu-ray of the final date of the ID.Entity tour, June 1 2024 in Warsaw. A great job capturing this show!! 😍💗 Man I love these guys! #Riversideband #liveID #Riversidelive #riversideinconcert

I've summarized what I found interesting in music for 2024. Metal, prog, indie... metal... Anyway. Check it out. :) theresonancecascade.com/the-year-in-...

Lunatic Soul: The last installment of an epic tale that has taken 17 years to tell. Out in 2025! 💛 www.youtube.com/watch?v=9K7p...

Today's album from 2024: French proggers Klone and their album The Unseen. Lush and heavy and no mistaking Yan Ligner's great voice. A record definitely worth listening to. #prog #frenchprog #kloneband www.youtube.com/watch?v=1DPo...

Post-rock/post-metal lovers: Swiss outfit Leech has dropped their latest album Sapperlot. These guys are pretty good. :) leechofficial.bandcamp.com/album/sapper... #posrtrock #postmetal #leechband

Third album that I like from 2024: some nice blackened death metal. Everyone likes blackened death metal... right? 😜 From the album Suffering Upon Suffering. www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-0S... #musicof2024 #metal #deathmetal

Next album of interest from 2024: The Quill, Wheel of Illusion. Rock'n'roll, baby, rock'n'roll. 🤘 www.youtube.com/watch?v=A62Z...

I think I'll start talking about the albums of 2024 that caught my interest. Not ranked yet, just in random order. Starting with: Model Kollapse by Bill Leeb (Front Line Assembly, Noise Unit, others). Excellent industrial from an industrial icon. www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFQy...

Zeal and Ardor last night at the Opera House. I didn't know a lot about them, but I would highly recommend seeing them if you can! #livemusic #zealandardor #metal 🤘🤘

So... no editing of posts over here. That strikes me as a basic function that should exist. I hope they fix it. Let me correct my intro post: I am writing a biography of a musician. *sigh*

Let's try some promotion. 🙂 Preorders for Live.ID, Riverside live at Torwar Arena, will open on Friday November 22. This is the cover. The show was recorded in Warsaw on June 1 2024, to wind up the ID.Entity tour. #Riverside.pl #riversideband #Riversidelive

Where you can find my reviews (again, I've been busy and things are slow... 😞 ) theresonancecascade.com

Here's some stuff I got over the past few months (I've been really busy this year so it's not as much as usual 😕 ). #billleeb #oransipazuzu #amplifier #klone #airbag #loma #sistersof #wretchgod #maciejmeller #elephant9

Let me try this intro thing. 🎶 Music: progrock Prog metal, post metal, ambient electronica, industrial, folk, lots of other things across many genres I write reviews I am writing an authorized biography and musicians I guess there is a character limit..? 🤔 #prog #ambient #electronica #lunaticsoul

My first post. In a day or two will be the anniversary of this album... 💜 Mariusz Duda: Afraid.
