When I was 12 years old a middle aged, Muslim man in Kenya tried to marry me. I look Somali so he thought I was also Muslim. If you want to be the sort of PC leftist that avoid critiquing religion, you go do that. I think you're a coward who can't hold nuances.

Nuances like being anti Western imperialism in Western Asia while a true feminist. I on the other hand am absolutely going to talk about patriarchy in Islamic communities. The Abrahamic faiths are sexist AF and produce sexist AF cultures. We need to return to Indigenous beliefs.

Hours later and I'm still recovering from the devastating jealousy of doing a live with Juan Carlos Pérez Cortés, who wrote the first book on Relationship Anarchy. Turns out that in Spain, a lot of his Relationship Anarchy talks are hosted by anarchist unions.

It's deeply unfair. I'd much rather spend my time talking Relationship Anarchy with anarchists than swimming through a sea of performative, politically incongruent non-monogamous leftists trying to explain why anti-hierarchy doesn't actually mean anti-hierarchy.

Imagine that. Relationship Anarchy... discussed by actual anarchists. Meanwhile here in North America, RA is too often a lifestyle for non-monogamists who passionately defend everyone's right to practice hierarchy because "consent."

The new anarcho-capitalists is a type of relationship anarchist that thinks it means non-committal polyamory or a praxis that doesn't involve a commitment to ending hierarchies outside your relationship.

Settlers and colonized minds fyi: you cannot perform your way into an open relationship. You cannot force compersion or out-think jealousy with perfect terminology. The body moves at its own pace and rejects inauthentic scripts.

If you affirm others hierarchical polyamory as an RA, you're a fraud. That's like calling yourself an environmentalist while defending fossil fuels. Anarchism is a radical challenge to all top-down hierarchies.

The world is coming once again together to celebrate the world cup. But let us at the same time not forget Gaza. Israel is still bombing and killing palestinians. Colonialism doesn't pause for humanity.

Monogamy runs on autopilot, the script has been written for you by culture. Polyamory runs on manual mode. If you don’t know your manual, you default to being neglected.

Monogamy often assumes your partner will meet all your needs. Polyamory is framed as the opposite: expect neglect and stop asking for more. Neither is healthy. Your attachment needs don't disappear in polyamory. The difference is that you actually have to know what they are and communicate them.

So the world officially has its first trillionaire. 🤮 I will forever maintain that if Mandela had redistributed wealth in 1994 instead of allowing white South Africans to retain the wealth accumulated through apartheid, we probably wouldn't be dealing with Elon Musk and Peter Thiel today.

To everyone in an open relationship: you are still entitled to having your needs met in an attachment-based relationship. Accepting crumbs is neither healthy nor functional. Non-monogamy should expand possibilities for connection, not become an excuse for neglect.

One of the greatest tricks colonialism ever pulled was convincing us that hierarchy is human nature. For most of our existence, humans lived in egalitarian bands. Domination and scarcity are political choices. Life doesn't have to be rule or be ruled.

You're monogamous because you'd rather be cheated on than face the fact that someone might honestly want to be with someone else. I am polyamorous in part because I hate lying more than someone being with someone else. I can handle anything if it's transparent. We are not the same.

Even if you can see the coloniality of compulsory monogamy culture; even if you recognize how deeply your nervous system may have been conditioned toward monogamy, it is still perfectly okay to say, “I don’t want to spend my life struggling to practice non-monogamy.

Some of y'all need to hear this: participating in cancel or call-out culture isn’t a substitute for organizing against institutions and structures of power. It can feel like action, but it doesn’t replace the harder work of building movements capable of changing material conditions.

I really think the colonial mentality (both colonizers’ and colonized minds) is a mental illness. It should be treated with the seriousness we reserve for things listed in the DSM. There should be yearly updates building on the work of Franz Fanon...

...who studied colonization in the 1950s as a psychological problem. At its root, the colonial mentality is an obsessive drive to dominate, control, and subjugate everything and extinguish all life: nature but also the spirit of people.

The left, by contrast, enforces an almost impossibly high standard for those in the movement: a single misstep, an outdated opinion, a nuanced position can be enough to exile someone entirely.

This asymmetry is how authoritarianism gains ground. When one side accepts anyone, no matter how amoral and the other rejects everyone who isn't perfect, then only devils thrive.

It really makes sense now why the started with Venezuela. Secure their oil before destabalizing Western Asia and disrupting the oil flow. And it kills 2 birds with one stone. Meanwhile Cuba is being strangulated so they'll be too weak for an eventual invasion.

The John Davidson tourette's induced N-word outburst at the BAFTA's towards the Sinners Cast is where we see the intersection of racism and disability. Because if the harm was towards a white audience, there would have been an apology issued already.

The amount of racism the cast and crew of Sinners has gone through has been insane. I'm not a fan of the movie but it's genuinely been vexing seeing that level of racism.

Some of my safer sex standards for partners: -Recent STI test before we first have sex - HPV vaccinated - Few months of dating before I fluid bond - They must test after sleeping with someone new, and open STI/safer sex talks with new partners. Do what works for you, this is what works for me.

We need to kill the idea of the "ideal polyamorist": never jealous, cool with everything, doesn't even need much of a safer sex agreement, has multiple partners and is compersive. And If you're not that, you're not really polyamorous? We didn’t leave one script just to pick up another.

Everyone’s talking about America’s Next Top Model doc but am I the only that's always seen reality TV as cruel to me. It preys on vulnerable working-class people psychologically, by dangling a carrot. Cheap to produce, modern Circus Maximus, the only ones it really empowers are studio heads.

Puritan leftists are a hive mind. Colonial politics is a horseshoe, on one end is MAGA, and on the other, puritan leftists. Neither tolerates plurality of thought.
