After a few months of owning it, my Rivian is my favorite vehicle I have ever owned. It is the first one that I actually want to drive. I like being in it, I like looking at it. I'll probably own an EV truck for the rest of my life.

10. Infinite Baths Psychotic name. This is all about the breakdown at the end. It's the heaviest Sleep Token gets. They also let the scream sit on its own which is really rare. It reminds me of Will Ramos' bit in To the Hellfire "PINS AND NEEDLES" very cool. Good ending.

Summary. I really enjoy this album. I do wish I had another Chokehold mixed in there somewhere but that isn't really a problem with what is there. My only real criticism is that the stair step approach from light to heavy feels a tad formulaic. Going to be on rotation for a long time yet.

8. Damocles I like it. This is definitely their most radio playable track. (Not a bad thing) Another lyrical highlight from Vessel. "Come up for air and choke on it all" Also more great drums. Sleep Token uses drum solos like other bands would use guitar solos.

9. Gethsemane Huge departure. Intro lyrics are giving their first two EPs. Guitars are unlike anything else they have done. They take this very Polyphia/Steve Vai sound, but it's so detuned and punchy that it still sounds like Sleep Token. This is going to be a song of theirs I learn to play.

6. Even in Arcadia My favorite. The Vessel shout at the end is one of the best moments. This is somehow the most metal songs without guitars. "The gods we thought were dying were just sharpening their blades" "What was missing from the scriptures will be written in my blood"

4. Dangerous LOVE the 80s ballad guitars at the beginning that then morphs into R&B. The electronic "riff" or whatever you call it makes me smile. I really like knowing that II is playing the electric drum kit and that it's not just a loop.

5. Caramel The DRUMS! Especially with the point music box sounds running under the whole thing. Not a song I expected a big breakdown from but I'll always take it. It's like a treat.

Ok "Even in Arcadia" first listen thoughts. It's good. I wanted it to be heavier. I wanted some more songs like Chokehold. Will definitely be on rotation for a while.

Working on some things... This uses a version of the context protocol for binding updates. All you have to do to implement your own bindings is listen for an even and call a callback.

Sunday morning hacking: just made a bunch of new issues for Heximal, in case anyone out there likes the vision and wants to contribute! There are now Good First Issue and Help Wanted labels. I'll be adding more issues as I migrate various TODOs I have for the project. github.com/elematic/hex...

github.comIssues · elematic/heximalHeximal is a web-based interactive document and notebook system - Issues · elematic/heximal

I'm starting to build up a public site for Heximal - my project to enhance HTML with reactive documents, declarative components, templates with data-binding, and more. Heximal is like a modern mashup of Tangle, Polymer 2, and HTMX. heximal.dev I'll be working on real docs and examples soon.

It would be helpful if more people understood renewable energy is actually an extremely disruptive technology and the reason monied interests are trying to make folks hate it is that they are the ones which will be disrupted.
