Archaeological evidence of the lost city of Wülferhamptenza. It was abandoned as the gravy was not thick enough to cut with a knife.

- What is the tallest mountain in Greece? The tallest mountain in Greece, and indeed the solar system, is Mount Olympus, also known as Olympus Mons. It is 25km high, stretches across much of the Eastern Mediterranean, and from the top of it you can easily reach Mars orbit.

- Is Blackpool really black? Anything which lies beyond an event horizon is technically black, as no visible radiation escapes from it. However, it does emit small amounts of Hawking Radiation. Truly, what goes on in Blackpool, stays in Blackpool.

- Is the Yellow Sea actually yellow? Yes. This can be demonstrated by shining a bright white light at it and observing the reflection of the light between 570 and 590nm.

The Brothers Grimm, were they actual brothers? Yes, they were brothers. One had a sister called Helga, the other a brother called Gottfried. Completely unrelated at least as far back as the 1500s, they met at Cambridge University Silly Surnames Society (CUSSS).

Seems like an appropriate time to point out that #Wülferhampton has its own carbon neutral AI, which is no more useless than most of the others.

The Labour Party: joining the climate crisis on the side of the climate crisis.

I am inspired by this cautionary tale from xkcd, about the dangers of embarking rashly on a project. Unfortunately, certain people in certain administrations look at the wrong sort of stuff on the internet.

DeepReek analysis: Selling alcohol in the Palace of Westminster is necessary to numb the pain experienced as a result of the political system ripping your soul from you.

In a quiet millisecond, I was looking for an interesting project, and thought it would be interesting to explore song titles containing imperatives. Shine on you crazy diamond Don't pay the ferryman Carry on wayward son Get back Let it go Don't stop believing Wake me up before you go-go More?

1 data center uses 11-19 MILLION liters of water PER DAY—same as a town of 50,000. BigTech is literally drinking our future dry so u can doomscroll. I'd say that's a stretch... but the aquifer would agree. 💧 #Resist #BIGTech #WaterJustice #ClimateJustice

To arbitrate between the tasks that people - students, researchers, admin - needed to run, a system called XEAGLE would work out the demand and allocate resources to different processes based on that demand.

One of the freaky things is that, to avoid "peak hours", a lot of heavy maths processing would be carried out late at night automatically on a schedule. Ironically this meant that demand would spike in the middle of the night and the computer would become unresponsive.

In my enthusiasm to solve a problem posed on another social media site ("Why do humans like dried leaves in boiled water?") I have accidentally drained the North Sea for cooling. This may result in a big bloody war between Vikings and Mercians. Possibly the biggest and bloodiest. ....

This is clearly not my problem, and it's everyone else's job to sort it out now. I led the way. If you wanted the answer you should have been helping me before.
