The session was well attended and ended by keynote speaker Dr Camille Goodman, who reflected on the importance of the #DeepSea and the role of science and cooperation in effective decision making. Elin also delivered a DOSI presentation during ‘Translating Science into Policy and Impact’ symposium.

Thank you to our DOSI Delegation who participated in #ISA31 Part II over the past two weeks. The group raised awareness of deep-sea science in #DeepSeaMining discussions and delivered a side event exploring the science need for the ISA and #BBNJ 📷 Earth Negotiations Bulletin

ISA 31st Session Part II is underway in Kingston, Jamaica, running through till 31 July. A DOSI delegation is attending the Session, sharing the latest science on deep-sea ecosystems and the risks of mining to help inform these critical negotiations. 📸 DOSI delegate, Samantha Robb by END IISD
