While Americans pay more at the pump because of a war President Trump started, giant corporations & their investors, like Trump, are cashing in & bragging. His gains must be investigated, & we must bring an end to the Iran War to finally bring down the price of oil.

As President Trump lines his own pockets and those of his billionaire friends, millions of working families are paying the price of a cost-of-living crisis he created. It’s time to investigate Trump’s profits, end the war in Iran, and bring down costs for American families.

Trump currently holds up to $81 million in oil and gas stocks. His stocks have increased in value by 43% since the end of 2025.

With extreme weather & natural disasters on the rise, Americans should be able to turn to FEMA in moments of distress.   Instead, DHS funds are going to ballrooms, private planes, & political ads. Those are their priorities, not our families’ safety.

politico.comFEMA tells states to handle disasters on their ownThe Trump administration plans to cut disaster aid in as few as six months and shift responsibility to states, FEMA's administrator said in remarks obtained by POLITICO.

This is a pattern of abuse by the Israeli government. Detain peaceful volunteers and Palestinians while turning a blind eye to violent, Israeli settlers. There is no reason to detain anyone for picking olives.

I am relived Brad Lander has been released, but he should not have been detained in the first place. The rabbis and advocates remaining in detention must be released.

I am deeply grateful to hear that Pope Leo XIV is cancer-free. I am praying for His Holiness’ continued good health, strength, and many more years of faith, hope, and service to humanity and Catholics around the world.

Vladimir Putin is not a humanitarian. He’s a tyrant, a criminal, & currently at war with our ally Ukraine, where he is kidnapping children & deliberately targeting civilians. Trump is in league with Moscow. We can’t even call this complacent. It looks more like collaboration.

The scariest thing about Halloween this year? Sky-rocketing prices under Trump. Americans deserve a treat, but all this administration has delivered is tricks!

I am glad the Board of Alders is fighting to defend academic freedom and Yale students. There is no doubt Yale is being pushed up against the wall, but this is when our integrity matters the most. Our community demands that Yale not capitulate to the Trump Administration.

If the settlers will do this to an American journalist on camera, in broad daylight, imagine what Palestinian families face when no one is watching. Those responsible for this attack must be held accountable.

Higher costs are hurting everyone, but seniors are taking a big hit. A 3.6% increase in Social Security benefits won’t cover what Trump’s tariffs cost have cost you.

Paychecks can’t keep up with inflation driven by Trumps war of choice in Iran. More Americans are going to be living paycheck to paycheck. Simple as that.

ICE continues to terrorize our communities with zero accountability; this time in New York, they shot a man with his 5-year-old child in the car. ICE must be reined in before more senseless violence continues. ICE must not get another dime until reforms. The violence must end.

Yusuf Shanaran, his wife and four children are trapped in their home in the occupied West Bank. Settlers who constructed an illegal outpost to isolate them are attacking the family and destroying their home and have not been arrested. The IDF must intervene to protect Yusuf and his family!

Working Latinas are paid just 53 cents for every dollar paid to non-Hispanic white men. Latinas can’t afford to lose $33,370 to the wage gap each year. We must pass my Paycheck Fairness Act to fight for #LatinaEqualPay, because an economy that exploits working women harms us all.
