🧿 PRAYERS TO THE FUTURE update #4 is here!! 🧿 our protags are having a rough time, that's for sure... enjoy!! prayerstothefuture.com

whoops iiii had a very busy day yesterday and completely forgot that it was thursday until late at night... i am so sorry folks u_u i just had a very packed two weeks BUT i should be ok to stream monday!! thanks for your patience and understanding ;;

a bleak thing about this is that EA's $18 billion debt that's central to this mess is essentially pocket change to saudi arabia. the saudi public investment fund - where most of the money for the EA buyout came from - manages about $1,000,000,000,000 USD in assets. yes, one trillion.

game company saddles itself with $18 billion debt to saudi arabia, lays off hundreds of employees, sinks beloved IPs, burns through any remaining good faith it had with its player base, all to... *checks notes* develop "an open world football experience" and "invest heavily into apex legends"

hey EA how's that $55 billion saudi arabian buyout going

and with that, it's been a really hectic day so i'll have to call out of the stream again @_@ sorry folks! i'll be rolling out these chapters live around 9am PT on mondays from now on so my day can be a bit less busy - i just had a packed weekend. thx for your understanding, i'll see yall thursday!
